Roadmaster Rapido user review by Moniruzzaman

My name is Moniruzzaman, an Employee. My current location is in Mirpur Dhaka. Recently I have been using “Roadmaster Rapido” and it is better to mention while I am talking about bikes that, from the year of 2006 I was used to with so many bikes including “Zongshen 50cc”, Hero Honda”, “Dayang 80cc”, “Bajaj Pulsar 150cc”, “Hero Hunk”, “Lifan KPR” and many more. Beside these all bikes, I have noticed that, as a Domestic brand “Roadmaster” has introduced their bikes with excellent features and category. I keep waiting and one stage I purchase a part their which known with the name of “Roadmaster Rapido”. As a 150cc bike, this one has attractive design and the touch of ultra modern technology and features which incite me to purchase this one. I have gained so many experience by riding “Roadmaster Rapido” and to day I am here to share my experience with you guy's and I hope this will be helpful enough for you all to make your decision about this bike. Specially for those who are already serious to have this one.

Engine
This bikes engine is 150cc air cooled, 4 stroke, Euro standard engine which is able to produce 13.6 kw@8500 RPM max power, and 15.6 NM torque. Its Engine is good enough which merely get hot and serve excellent power. From the matter of Speed and Performance, its 150cc Engine is good enough. Gear shifting is very smooth. Its very easy to have 80 kilometer per hour speed. It took few second for me to pick up the speed of 80 kilometer per hour and I don't feel any vibration till then. To me, its Engine is feel like different from the others.

Top speed and Mileage
I found its top speed 115 kilometer per hour and mileage is in the city is 35-36 kilometer per liter.

Tyre
As to say about the tyres, in the front has the size of 110/70-17 wide tyre and rear one has 130/70-17 which serving me well enough control and balance.

Braking
CBS braking system is the ultra modern and latest braking system which ensure the combine braking of the both wheels and because of the wide tyres, there is hardly any chance of skidding which I don't feel neither. One matter I have noticed that, CBS braking system is rear in bikes of this segment. As the Rapido has the CBS Braking system, it let me to feel something special from this one. The combination of the braking of both wheel allow me to control perfectly ignoring the matter of situation. CBS in the Rapido make feel something extra.

Chassis
Along with its powerful 150cc Engine, its heavy duty chassis clears the over excellent stability and comfort.

Electrical
This bike has a 12V powerful battery and same time, this one has upgrade version of self start option which allow to start the Engine whatever the time is. LED 360 degree movable indicator nicely help to move in the road specially in the roads of Dhaka. Headlamps light is sharp enough to have the clear view of the front.

Suspension
Its suspension was pretty hard in first stage but after riding this one around 300 kilometer, now those are fine enough to serve smooth riding. Rear suspension is so smooth that you can ride this bike comfortably even in the off-road.




Design
Roadmaster Rapido has the design and look that easily able to attract any of the person whoever take a look at this one same time, because of its unique designs fuel tank and muscular, you may see a Giant coming to you from a far away. In the two sides of the fuel tank has LED lamp which gives it an excellent front look, no matter it is day or night.



Seating position and Handlebar
Seating position is in the middle of sports and commuter and for this reason, I don't feel any back pain even when I keep my back straight on the seating position. Looking glass serves the clear view of my back. At the same time, I don't feel any hesitation to ride this one even in the high speed because of its handlebar.

Negative sides
- Those who prefer ready pick, they are not going to enjoy this one but those who prefer comfort, this bike is perfect one for them.
- There is a chance of skidding in the muddy or dusty roads.
- Seating position is only for the two persons.

At the last
Rapido 150 is made in Bangladesh. This one is different from the others 150cc bikes because of its look, control, braking, mileage and the price.

N B: I am mention this line from my limited idea that, chassis of Rapido 150 is made in Bangladesh and other parts are imported and assembled in Bangladesh.
I hope forgiveness for mistakes, this is the first review written by me.
