Our conversation was something like this way. Even I was in a doubt when I heard about this bike at first. A bike in such price? Really surprising? After a long search in the Internet, there was nothing special. As a new bike, there was almost nothing about it, even the runner sales department has no information to serve me else a 86cc bike in 62,000/-.

It was all of a sudden my childhood hobby comes to mind and the time was last August. I had dream but no money to complete and for this reason I always try to complete my hobby by searching Youtube and internal websites about the bikes. One day by this search I found a bike review of Runner which is less in price and the system of installment. My eagerness come to the top when I see the name of RT. After discussing with family and friends, now time to choose the bike. By making my mind about the “Runner Cheeta” I pay a visit to the showroom of Kajipara. Cheeta was not in the stock and thats why signing the form I was wondering to the others bike hence, the RT got my attention and why don't? There are hardly any bike like this in the domestic manufacturer which has the design like this.

At first, it is good to say that I am 5' 6” and very thin body structure by which I never feel comfortable in the heavy bikes but the matter of RT is totally different. When I sit on it, I felt the feelings that I never feel before. It is tiny in size but an extra confident in mind whenever I am on it. I returned home with total confusion as the review and expert opinion was on the side of “Cheeta” or “Deluxe” but my mind was on RT. At the last my mind got the favor, in the date of November 10th my Aunt and my friend Rumi became my guarantor by which I took this cute Angel to my home.

Before purchasing this bike, my riding experience was only 10 minutes. As I was expert in cycling by which I can manage to ride my bike. First 400 kilometer I ride my bike as a training basis, after then I accumulate the valor to ride in the roads of Dhaka. First 100 kilometer I don't face any problem but I can sense that, brake in my hand is not so supporting quick response and the rear one is little bit high from the foot rest by which I was feeling uneasy.

Problem started after 3 days, after returning from the office, I notice that a large amount of fuel under the bikes floor. This is happening due to the leakage in the fuel tank and the fuel line joint. I was in serious tension why because, it is not so easy to take it to the servicing center without any papers and till then, I was not so perfect to ride it in the road like Airport. I took my bike to the local mechanic and he fixed it somehow in his own way which I can understand. No fuel emerging any more but problem were not ending, engine turned off in running, not starting by the self or the kick even after 5 – 7 minutes. (Later I can sense that there was a problem in the fuel flow).

To manage this problem I bound to take it in the servicing center in the Satrasta without any papers just after 240 kilometer with a friend. Problem was solve by the servicing but not completely. Engine working nicely, brakes were performing better, gear became smooth but somehow I could not be satisfied for unknown reason. That was why, I took it again to the local mechanic. This time the problem was solved in just 50 taka. Brakes are responding perfectly, gear shifting was something like butter and when going out in the morning, just after starting the engine it need to make it hot for 5 minutes then the chance of turn off again was reduced to 95% (often turn off due to dis-management of clutch/pick up but just a self is enough to restart the engine)




Here are the good and bad sides after riding it 800 kilometer:

Good sides:
1. Outlook:
By considering its look, this bike will gain 10/10. same time, its uniqueness, stylish and attractive color will separate this one in the same segments bikes. (several time people stop me in the road and ask me about this bike) they are common in their comments that this one is really exceptional one.

2. Speed:
As this one is under brake in period and thats why I never try its top speed. It is better to mention that, I was never hopeless even not a little for its speed. After crossing 500 kilometer, almost each of the day I ridden it in the speed of 60+ kilometer per hour and the top speed I picked up 75 kilometers per hour and it seems to more can be picked up. As I was reached in my destination, I can measure the speed anymore. After completing the brake in period, I am sure enough that this will serve the top speed of 80 kilometer per hour along with the ready pick up. No one know the importance of ready pick up in the roads like of Dhaka. With RT, I never have have fall in shame in the jam or side of the road for its ready pick up rather, it is comparable with the others 100cc bikes.

3. Controlling:
As a new rider I can mention this line with guaranty that there is hardly any bike which has such easy to control like the RT. My friends who not yet leaned bike riding, I teach them with mu RT only in 10 minutes or so. As its size is tiny, I can move it in the daily jam according to my wish. Vibration is a common fact in the each bike in the heavy speed but in the RT, it is very hard to sense. Some people complain that, it is not so comfortable with the pillion, I want to oppose them with respect. I never feel any problem to control this one with the pillion rather, it is smooth in high speed when the pillion in the back. I have ridden this one in rough and tough without any simple problem. No problem in the fly over or in the bridge.

One thing is better to uphold that, RT gives the extra confident to the new rider. It feels like mistake is not mistake in this bike as its control is never going to be out.

4. Build quality:
This may be ridiculous for some person that its build quality is good enough in average. Nothing of its parts are weak including the handlebar, chassis, foot page or the head kit. Seat is also comfortable and stylish. Switches are performing nicely and wearing standard as well.

5. Braking
Braking was not up to the mark at first but after the tuning, it is just perfect now. As this one has drum brake in the both wheels, it is not going to smart to compare it with the disk brake. You are never going to fail to control it if you can adjust front and rear brake at a time. I am not yet depress in the emergency braking.

6. Mileage : Presently I am getting mileage around 50kmpl. I hope it will be increase after break-in period.





Negative sides:
There is hardly any negative side of this bike to mention in the front. When you have a mind to adjust then nothing you will see.

1. Fuel indicator was not working in the first stage, in the time of servicing Runner's technician fixed now it is workable read.
2. No RPM indicator by which the rider have to measure by the sound of the engine and the throttle response in the hand. Look of the speed meter is not good at all in my view.
3. Headlamps light is workable but would have been better, (Moto LED can help on this matter)
4. Its size is fact by which 3 person at a time not possible.
5. Rear suspension would be better then it is.
6. Rear wheel is thin and for this reason if anyone cannot brake it properly then there is a chance of skidding. The reason behind using the term “chance”, at first I face so many skidding which is now normal. (Local mechanic suggest me to switch in the tyre of Pulsars in the rear portion)
7. No bumper or Sharee guard (many of the RT users got this from their own response).
8. Side cover made with the plastic and there is a chance of broke (I am thinking to change side plastics side box with the steel then there will be no less in the build quality)

At the last I want to confess that, I am not a bike expert, RT is my first bike. Yes it is true that, I have to face so many problem but same time it also true that I never thought to be owner of bike in just 62000/- (now 64000) even in my dreams. When I am to writing a review after 800 kilometer a happy smiling in my face with which is a smile of proud owner of a bike.
