Satisfied with mileage – Bajaj Discover 125cc user Tuhin Ali

Bike is the most popular vehicle in our country as it can run in all short of roads. Bikes are mostly used because of its fast movement and for same reason this vehicle is liked as a personal vehicle. My name is MD. Tuhin Ali and I am from Paikpara of Puthia upazila. Professionally I am a businessman and as to manage my business properly I badly feel the need if bike and with the same thought I purchase the bike about which I am talking about right now. Today I am here to introduce my bike in front of you guy's along with my both good and bad experience with this one. I hope that, this will help you in a large number specially to those people who are thinking to have a bike of the same category. So far you can guess about the name of my bike that it is “Bajaj Discover 125cc” and I am using this one from the last 2 years. This one is my 3rd bike of my life. Before this one I was used to with “Hero Honda” and “TVS Metro”. When I was to purchase my first bike, there was no one to give me some advice that which one is going to be perfect one for me. Even no one told me anything about the performance of the bike. So I choose a bike just visiting the showroom. But current situation is different cause MotorcycleValley is always on the spot by which anyone can have the exact information about the bikes whatever one need. Today I am here to share my experience through the MotorcycleValley. I hope you are going to be with me till the last.

At first, I want to mention something about the design of my bike. It is pretty gentle and clear in look which is going to like by anyone. From me, its design is just perfect for any people of any age. Same time, plastics on its body are pretty hard and strong which don't get broke easily. This one can easily pick up the right speed.


I was not so happy with the performance of the Engine of my bike why because I noticed problem in the engine in just one year. I serve the problem in the servicing center and it is running quite smoothly without any bad sound. It is good to mention that I was somehow in depression with the performance of the engine but now I am happy after servicing. Same time, I am happy with the service of the servicing center. They are quite free with their customers and they have good number of equipment to serve a bike properly. I am just uneasy to have problem in the Engine in just a year. Its braking system is pretty nice and this one can pick up the right speed in very short time.

This bikes another good part is its seating position. It is wide in which 2-3 person can easily sit on it. I don't feel any problem to ride this one with 3 person because the engine is powerful enough. I can touch the ground easily from the seating position as well. Handlebar serve well enough comfort when I hold it but when I hold it for a long time, I feel irritation in my hands. I have picked up the top of 100 kilometer and ridden 250 kilometer a day. Just after the journey, I felt pain in my back, chest and waist. I think this bike is not for long journey but this one is just perfect for the place like our villages. Switches on the handlebar are pretty good to look and easy to use as well. Same time, I am having good enough light from the headlight by which I never feel any irritation to ride this one in let night. Suspension is not so good as it should be as a brand like Bajaj because each of the time I feel the shake of the rough roads but it is good to say when I am on the good roads. Looking glasses are pretty nice to have the back view.

As the showroom informs me 2 years before about the quantity of the mileage, I am having the same mileage today as they inform me then so I am happy with the mileage. As a 125cc Engine, is it good to having 50 kilometer per liter but I am currently having more than that limit. It is serving me 55 kilometer per liter and I think they keep their words. But somehow the price seems to be high according to its performance from my view. As the current market is heavily competitive and from this point of view, I think the price should be reduced.

Good sides: Seating position is pretty good, it can pick up the right speed, mileage is just over excellent, service of the servicing center is just nice.
Negative sides: Price range is high, irritation in the hands in high speed, Problem in the engine and suspension is not so good as it should be.

At the last, I want to confess that, although its price is little bit high but its performance is pretty good. As there is proverb “As the sugar, same the sweet” and from this point of view it can be said that “higher the price, better the service”. If you are thinking to purchase this bike then you can definitely purchase it without any hesitation.
