Speeder Countryman Caferacer 5000km riding review by Onyrul Anam

I purchased Speeder Countrymen in the last February. I have a special attraction to the Café Racer and Speeder Countrymen has the same design of Café Racer so I don’t waste any time to make my decision with this motorcycle. Before this motorcycle, I didn’t have any motorcycle of my own. This one is the first bike of my life to say. Just after purchasing this motorcycle, I share a review through MotorcycleValley and now I have ridden my bike around 5000 kilometers and gained a whole new experience with my motorcycle. I personally think that, this is the time to share another review of my motorcycle. This review is totally my personal experience and opinion and I am to uphold whatever I felt about my motorcycle so far.

I want to start my experience through the Engine of my motorcycle. At first stage Engine performance was up to the mark but now I am not happy with its performance after riding it 5000 kilometers. I think I am the unfortunate one who got this most troubled motorcycle especially in the Engine. Whenever I hold the pick up the acceleration of 5000 RPM, a seriously bad noise emerge from the Engine. I am not having the expected speed even not having smooth gear shifting. I don’t know what are the feelings of the others users but I am in serious trouble with the Engine performance.

As because its design is Café Racer, this is why its design snatch my attraction very easily. There is nothing new to say on the matter of design on my motorcycle but I have some doubt on the build quality of my Café Racer. From the few days ago, a bad noise emerging from the body and exhaust. Battery already damaged so badly that mechanic couldn’t even solve it yet. I want to say that the management should be more conscious on the matter of after sales service and at the same time, they should appoint well adapted and experienced technician to serve their customers in an exact way to advance from all the part.

Riding this motorcycle is very much comfortable especially inside the city but problem is, whenever I cross the speed of 70 kilometers per hour, I have to tolerate a huge vibration. Its seating position is fine enough as a Café Racer and I switched the handlebar to scrambler from the Café, I want to Thank Speeder for this reason.

I have changed the switches with FZS Version 1 why because; there was no pass switch in the stock switch. Now the switches are very much smooth. Stock headlight has enough quantity light but now I have installed 7 inches projection halogen light and this now serving sharp light than the previous one but I have to say that, stock headlight was powerful than the Gixxer or FZS. After changing the handlebar, my motorcycles control is much better now why because, I don’t feel any problem while cornering my motorcycle. I felt irritation in the previous handlebar of my motorcycle but just after installing the new one, I hardly feel any irritation in my hands even after riding my motorcycle for a long time. I am having better control by installing this handlebar. I have already mentioned in the top that I have to go through serious vibration after crossing the speed of 70 kilometers per hour and I want to repeat this again.

Braking system is all ok and those performances are up to the mark but I am sensing bad noise in the front braking system from the last few days. Suspensions are fine enough and serving proper comfort but its tyres skidding badly from the others in my point of view.

To be frank on the matter of mileage, I am having right now around 28 kilometers or so. As because I mostly ride my motorcycle in the cities so this range is somehow workable I think.

Service centers service is so called as because they are advancing but severely slow. One more negative part of the service center is, they keep shut the door on Friday which is a major problem for the service holder why because many of the service holder have to wait till the end of the day to complete the have the service. I think they should improve the numbers of equipment and should gather more adapted workers. If any problem is taken by the customer than they should solve it immediately. I hope the Management of Speeder understands what I mean to say.

Its price is high according to the current market of Bangladesh but with the compare of GPX Legend, this one’s price is ok and fine enough.

Positive sides of my motorcycle:
-Excellent look
-Attractive color combination
-Tyres are wide but skids
-Low use of Plastics

Negative sides:
-Problem in gear shifting
-Serious vibration in high speed
-More than expected bad noise

Those who want to purchase this motorcycle or you like Café Racer than definitely can purchase this one.
