Suzuki Gixxer SF Carburetor user review by Tomal

Suzuki is a very popular motorcycle brand among the younger generation. In our country, Suzuki has won the hearts of the customers with their sports commuter bikes. I am also a Suzuki lover and I prefer the Suzuki Gixxer SF bike because this bike has a premium feel. I used the previous version of the Suzuki Gixxer SF before the current Suzuki Gixxer SF. I have used that bike for a long time and since then I have liked this Suzuki bike so I bought the current one. When this new Gixxer SF bike first came on the market, I have chosen it by the first view. So I bought the SF carburetor version of Suzuki Gixxer from Akota Enterprise, a reputed dealer in Rajshahi.

Currently, there are not many rides due to COVID 19. When I get a little time in my work, I take my bike out for refreshments. So far I have ridden this bike for only 1500km in 3 months. I will share with you what kind of performance or feeling I get after buying this bike and riding 1500 km. I hope you will benefit enough from reading my review.

First of all, let's talk about the design of this bike. I like the design of the bike very much premium and this bike has the design to compete with the bikes of the premium segment of Bangladesh. The front headlamp, rear tail lamp, split seating position, color combination, body composition, meter panel are all new and have nothing in common with the previous version. I like the design very much so I am more interested in taking and riding this bike.

The performance of the engine I find is much smoother than the previous Gixxer SF and the engine has a combination with the structure of this bike, the speed of the engine seems to me much higher. In my opinion the engine has been slightly refined from the previous version. The engine on the other hand seems to hit a little over. From this engine I am getting average mileage of 41km per liter.
Seating position is Split seating position and the combination of three part handlebars is also great. I feel very comfortable even after riding for a long time but there is a problem with both the seating position and the handlebars. Although the seating position seemed right, the seat seemed too tight to me and there was a complaint that the pillion seating position was small which was not implemented in the very new version. Meanwhile I noticed lite vibration in the handlebars.

I like the braking system and control. My bike is not ABS but the performance of the double disc braking is not bad. I have also used double disc on my previous bike and from there I do not have much difficulty in using double disc on this bike. I can take a break like I want. Meanwhile, the thick wheels, the structure of the bike, etc. I get much better control. I can control this bike very nicely and I think it is better than the previous bike.

The performance of the suspension is not very appropriate. I noticed the suspension of this bike is too stiff which causes more shaking on the broken road. Hopefully it will go away after more rides but it shouldn’t be so tough from the start.
I like the meter console very much and it is much better than the previous Gixxer SF. I like its meter console as well which is a lot of premium. On the other hand, the headlamp light should be increased a little and if I do a single ride, it seems to me that the position of the light is going to be a little higher. I'll fix it soon.
A bike is a combination of good and bad. I've used the previous Gixxer SF and I am currently using it. I like the current version which is quite better in my point of view. These are all my personal opinions. Everyone must ride carefully. Thanks for giving your time.
