Suzuki Gixxer SF Fi ABS 3500km riding experiences by Animesh Saha

The Suzuki Gixxer is a very popular bike among the young generation. Most of the Suzuki Gixxer rides in the market of Bangladesh are done by the young generation of riders. To me, this Suzuki Gixxer bike has been my favorite bike for a long time. I have used Yamaha Fazer v1 at first. I have used that Fazer v1 bike for a long time, then I saw that Suzuki Gixxar is bringing a new model of SF in the market and it is very premium to look at. I fell in love with the bike at first sight. The shaky design and outlook of the new Suzuki Gixxar SF bike has fascinated me a lot. Then I heard that there is FI ABS with this bike so I became more interested to buy the bike; All in all, I am currently using one of the most beautiful bikes in Bangladesh, the Suzuki Gixxer SF FI ABS.

I have been using this bike for about 5 months and I have ridden about 3500 km in these 5 months. I did not find any evil side to tell the truth after this 3500 km ride. Only I think that the only downside of this bike is the price of the bike. It would have been great if the price of this bike had been more tolerable to me. Since I have gained a lot of experience by riding this bike, I am sharing those experiences with you.

First of all, let's make a little reputation with the design of this bike. It seemed to me to be quite a premium design bike. The structure of the bike, the color combination, the outfit are all mind blowing. Every time I see this bike, I fall in love with it. There is a magic in the design of this bike and with that magic the bike has won my heart. Suzuki must be commended because they designed this bike perfectly.

The former Suzuki Gixxer SF bike had a single seating position but now it has split seating position. Being in this split seating position, I feel very comfortable while riding and the pillow behind me is also very comfortable for this split seating position. I did a long ride and saw that this bike is actually a very comfortable bike. I have ridden more than 200 km in one day with this bike and I found this bike comfortable enough.

The engine is much smoother and refined in the current model than the previous model. There is a feeling of premium running the engine and I also get much better performance from this engine. Meanwhile, as a result of having FI technology in the engine, I get smooth acceleration. And this FI technology helps me get better mileage.

I am now getting the mileage of this bike at 42 km per liter in the city and 45 km per liter on the highway which is definitely an admirable mileage. Getting such mileage as a 155cc bike is really surprising. So far I am satisfied with the mileage of this bike.
When I ride the bike at high speed, I do not realize that the bike is at a much higher speed. This is because of its smoothness and aerodynamic design. As a result of the combination of these two, I can control and balance very well and can also do very good cornering at high speed. The smoothness and aerodynamic shape of this bike seemed very effective to me.

Having ABS braking allows me to ride safely. The bike helps me a lot in terms of braking on wet or sandy roads. The ABS braking of this bike I have noticed is very effective and it works very well in any bad moment.


In the end I will say that the price should be reduced a little considering the engine, design, performance, braking of this bike. Besides, the performance of the bike is definitely much better.
