It is very difficult to find a person who doesn’t like to ride a bike these days, and if that bike is good looking and comfortable then riding it for the whole day will not be a reason of tiredness. Like them I am also a biker who can ride bikes for a whole day without complaining. At 2008 I learned bike riding using my father’s bike. After that I used to ride my elder brothers bike and doing that I become expert in bike riding. At the end of the day bike becomes my habit and without bike roaming becomes very tough for me. My whole collage life passed away with my brother’s bike named TVS Apache RTR and it becomes my part and parcel of daily life. After that I come into varsity life and realized that now I need my own bike because my whole family has their own. My home town is in Joypurhat but for my higher and better studies I come in Rajshahi. After arriving here my passion about bike becomes stronger and decided to have one for myself as early as possible.
I was thinking to have Apache RTR but after thinking a lot I realized few problems about this bike and the biggest one was the engine vibration. After that I become interested in Yamaha and their popular model named Fazer. But I was very unlucky on that time because I don’t have enough budgets to have that bike and they don’t provide their bikes in installment as well. After that I saw Suzuki Gixxer and I liked that bike so much. So I made my mind to have Suzuki Gixxer SF Moto GP edition for myself. From Joypurhat I bought my bike in installment and the main reason behind getting attracted to this bike was the graphics and design of it. Almost one and a half years passed away with my Gixxer SF and the meter is showing ten thousand kilometers by this time. Today I will say few things about my bike and share my riding experiences with you all hope you guys will stay till the last.
Before I say anything else I want to start with the best part of my bike and that is the design. If I say in my personal opinion then I have to admire that this bike is really a master pieces in its design. Muscular looks, racing outlook and Moto GP graphics all makes this thing a classy master piece. My friends used to say that this bike suits with my personality because I am heavy. However I am fully satisfied with the design.
Now if I say about the build quality than I will say it is better. Once I faced a big accident with my bike and no bigger damages were seen in it as I expected it will. Just the handle bar becomes curved a little bit and the front rim as well. By the grace of Allah I and my bike survived. One thing I realized that in highways while riding on high speed I have seen that this bike started floating a bit, it might happens because of the body weight which is not as heavier as it looks. Without that no bigger problems are seen with the build quality till now.
If I have to say about the seating position than I must tell you that entire on regular basis I travel to my hometown, at least twice in a week. Doing that I have seen the riding seat of my bike is perfect and very comfortable indeed. In one day almost 400 kilometers ride was done by me with this bike and I have no complains with the rider’s seat. But the pillion seat is not that much comfortable at all. As this bike belongs from a sports category the riding seat for the pillion is smaller in size and higher as well. Because of that pillion faces problems while seating in it.
Talking about the electrical features I like all the things except the headlamp because it is short of light. Comparing to the other bikes at this bike has the worst headlamp I must say. So I placed LED headlamp and now I get excellent light for my riding. I am really disappointed with the building headlamp of my bike.
This bike is comfortable for riding because I haven’t faced any problems yet. On the other side the controlling is superb and I enjoy it so much. No matter whether it is in city or at the highways I can have perfect controlling.
For braking side this bike holds both side Disc brakes and for that a powerful output is given for the riding. Because of this strong quality braking I can have safety and confidence while riding. Till now I think the brakes are perfect to me comparing the other bikes I have ridden. Even after ten thousand kilometers ride I don’t have to change the brake shoes.
When I ride alone I feel little bit of shaking because the rear suspension performs little bit lesser on that time but when I have a pillion In my back it works perfectly. So I think the rear suspension needs to be softer. But at the city or smooth kind of roads no complains. There is nothing to say special about the tiers because we all know that it has wider tyres which are also well gripped.
Now I want to say something about the mileage. At the very beginning I have got 35 KM/L mileage but now I am getting 40 KM/L mileage. I have no headache with the mileage because for this kind of monster have to sacrifice few things.
After having this bike I went to the service center once because most of the time I have o stay in Rajshahi. But they are very well behaved and filled with good instruments. I used to service my bike in Rajshahi and I am comfortable with it.
Finally I will say about the price of this bike. Based on the design, engine, comfort and overall performance I think the price is perfect of this bike. Though when I purchased this bike it was higher in price but now it is available with a reasonable price for the users.
One the whole I am satisfied with the performance of my Gixxer SF, overall the looks and engine performance pleased me. No more for today, stay safe ride safe.
