Eight months back I have started my journey with Suzuki Gixxer. I liked this bike after watching the design and after that one of my friends owns a Gixxer and I have given a test ride and then I like the seating position and controlling of this bike, I was totally pleased with them both. So based on the controlling, seating position and the design I made my mind to have one for myself. At present I have four bikes and Gixxer is one of them. As I am using four bikes at once so today I am here to share few of my experiences about Suzuki Gixxer. Hopefully it will be helpful for you all.
First of all if I start with the design of Gixxer then I must admire that I really like the design of this bike. Excellent color combination along with the wider tires makes the outlook eye catching. This bike really looks like a beast and for that while riding it I can have that superb feeling that I always wanted but though I am happy with the design but I am not happy with the build quality. I think as a 150cc bike the build quality must be more durable and high in class. Sometimes I hear bad noises from few of the body parts which ensure the low build quality.
Engine performance is outstanding that I realized. Engine sound, throttle response, power output everything is just perfect. I personally think even at the long journeys this bike will offer the same engine performance without any lacking and the more this bike will run the more the engine will be smoother. One thing I like about this bike it has no shortage at the engine performance though it has muscular body, heavy weight and wider tyres. I never tested or tried to check the top speed but after I accelerate this bike when I need I can feel the power of this engine and I enjoy the fast acceleration. Till now I am not disappointed with the engine presentation.
Now let us talk about the comfort. The seating position of this 150cc bike is wider and perfect, for that reason I can have great comfort while my every ride. Without that based on the seating position the handle bar is perfectly placed and it is upright handle bar for that no tension about the back pain. I have traveled for a long time with this bike and without any problem I have comfortable ride. So I never worry about the comfort of this bike.
Among the all electrical features I didn’t like the power of the headlamp at all and after that the operating switches placed at the handle bar. At the night times the headlamp power is really not sufficient for using. For the highways this kind of power is not going to work I think.
This bike is muscular but not longer, it is smaller in size and naked sports version. Because of this reason this bike can be controlled easily at the busy roads of the city and even at the highways. I have seen that comparing to other 150 cc bikes controlling of this bike is excellent because the others bikes create difficulties with the controlling at the busy roads and traffics. I am totally satisfied with the controlling of this bike and one thing that pleased me is it has no vibration even at the high speed riding.
Braking system is perfect. Both the front and rear brakes works perfectly and very effective but the rear one gets loses sometime and that is bothering.
Suspensions are softer enough to ride with and they support perfectly at any kind of roads. I have tested the suspensions at the broken roads and they offered great controlling and comfort both.
No another big think that helps a rider to ride with great comfort and it also ensures the safety sometimes and that is the tyres. Tyre size is enough wider and they are truly well gripped. These tyres offers excellent gripping at the rainy time, muddy roads and even at the broken types of roads.
One the most desired thing of a bike user is the mileage and the speed and I have already talked about the speed and now I am going to say something about the mileage. Like the speed of this bike I am totally pleased with the mileage as well. Containing a monster body and wider tyres this bike is giving me 45 KM/L mileage. That’s it I am not saying anything else because this one line is enough the more I will say the more you have to read so I think I am done with the mileage.
After sells service of Suzuki providers are acceptable indeed. They are very caring and they behave well with their customers and they cordially try to solve their customer’s problems.
Based on the recent market condition the price of his bike is higher I think if it gets lessen a little bit then the demand will rise that I can assure.
Good sides:
- Controlling is perfect.
- Comfortable seating position.
- Excellent tyre gripping.
- Good mileage.
Bad sides:
- Build quality is not up to the mark.
- Low power of the headlamp.
So after watching my review and study more about this bike if someone asks for y opinion about this bike or they need a answer whether they should but this bike or not then I would like to say, if you like this bike then you can take this and you will not be disappointed. Every good thing has bad sides and those bad sides make the thing good.
