Hello guys! Basically I am a bike lover; it gives you pleasure and also ease you regular traveling. It is also helpful for those who live far away from their work place or educational institutes. The same thing goes for me as well and for that last year September I bought Suzuki Let’s Scooter. Riding bikes inside the city roads becomes little bit difficult sometimes, passing through the traffic jams, changing gears, keeping the balance right or to maintain the riding safeties. On the other hand as I am a female it is not possible for me to wear the suitable dress all the time for riding a bike. Therefore to overcome these situations and to ride independently as I love the most I decided to go for a scooter. Riding posture of scooters are very user-friendly and I can ride it wearing any kind of dress I want.
After purchasing the scooter my regular traveling becomes easier and I can cut of the distances earlier passing though the busy roads as well. The meter count is at 3500 kilometers almost and today I will try to share some of my own experiences which I gathered using this scooter.
A Few good things I found about this scooter:
-Fast acceleration helps me a lot
-I can maintain good balance riding in the city roads
-Perfect riding seat
-Underneath seat storage helps to carry things
-Powerful engine performance
-Pleasurable riding experience
A few bad things I found about this scooter:
-In our country perspective I don’t think the AHO system is required, it is really bothering
-Headlamp needs more power for the low light conditions
-No indicator sound
-No charger port which is a common feature for a scooter
-Tires need to be improved in their quality, they skids a lot
Reason behind choosing this scooter:
Firstly I was thinking to go for an Indian scooter because they are popular in our country market. But the problem was my father didn’t allow me to do so. He suggested me to go for a trusted brand and also gives me the suggestion to check the scooters riding posture, weight, cc, performance etc before I buy. As my father said I went for the showrooms, check all the required things for a few days, according to my height weight and color choice all the things matches with Suzuki Lets so I bring it home.
I ride this scooter on daily basis, based on that if I have to say about the engine side I will say this 110cc engine has good power and the throttle response is satisfactory. Inside the busy roads I can comfortably overtake or go through the traffics using the acceleration. Sometimes the engine gets over heated but I never feel that creates any problem on my riding. Controlling this scooter is easier but sometimes because of the small tires which skids while hard braking I lose control. I think the tires need to be wider. I made a long journey with my scooter and that was around 80-85 Kilometers. On that time I was really worried about that skidding problem. While riding at night journeys I feel the headlamp is not powerful enough to compete with the lights of bikes or other bigger vehicles running around me. It needs more power to compete with them. This scooter is comfortable to ride because of its posture but the pillion seat is very wider to seat on. People who hop on my back do complains, therefore I think if the pillion seat needs to be thinner. Till now the electrical side is performing well but at the very beginning the electric start bothered me for a few days. The very next day after I purchased this bike it was not working and I have to take the scooter for the service center. But after servicing it is working perfectly, maybe it was technical problem. I never counted the mileage. Every day I almost travel around 20 kilometers and I fill up the fuel tanker3/4 times in every month so I am happy.
So that was it, my very own experiences about my scooter Suzuki Let’s. Before I go I will say a few things, in our society female riders are not that much acceptable for others but I think time has changed we all deserve same respect and facilities. So don’t make the way hard for the female riders they have the Wright to ride with freedom and to be admired by all. Thank you motorcycle valley, be safe ride your way safe.
