Assalamualaikum! I am Asadul Kabir Porag and I live in Kapashia, Gazipur. At present I am studying in Honors 4th year having my study at Titumir College and my age is 22.
From my childhood I was passionate about motorcycles. When I was in fourth standard I learned bike riding and as far I remember the bike was Honda CD 80. After that my father’s CDI H100 motorcycle. Mainly I become expert in biking using CDI H100 and I ride that bike for long five years. After that I used Hero Honda splendor + for a while and then APACHI RTR 150, BAJAJ PULSAR 150 and now I am using #APACHE RTR 160 4v. Today I am here for sharing my first impression or first ride review about my RTR 4V and I beg of mercy if any mistakes are seen.
I bought my TVS APACHE RTR 160 4V paying TK 205000 and the place was my nearest M.S Auto Trading, MIRPUR on 25-11-2018. Now talking about this bike in details I will start with the engine.
In Bangladesh at the 160cc segment this bike has the most powerful engine where 4V technology is used. For that reason I am having extreme comfort using this bike and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear ratio just surprised me.
Controlling: For both side disc braking and 130 rear tyre I am personally enjoying the controlling of this bike and it really has good control.
Design: The design of RTR 4V is not the same as the other Apache RTR models. According to my opinion the best part of the design I the newly added fuel tanker and without that the body kits and graphics.
Mileage: This bike is new and at this condition I am getting 40 + KM/L mileage which made me satisfied. Hope after using 2000 kilometers the mileage range will increase.
Top Speed: I didn’t checked the top speed yet because this bike is still in break-in period and it is not that much possible to say what will be the speed, but I can say one thing and that is I got 0-60 within 6 seconds.
Ready pick up: instant pick up response of this bike is really outstanding. I am totally pleased with it.
I really like the build quality of this bike because it has a sporty posture because o the body kits and design. One of the biggest reasons to love this bike is also that.
Till now I haven’t feel any kind of vibration while using this bike. This bike has Mono shock absorber and for that the comfort level just increased.
This bike comes with fully digital meter console which I really like.
Service center: Because I didn’t visited the authorized service center of TVS yet so I don’t want to say anything about them. But talking from the past experiences I will say outside Dhaka the service center quality need to be improved.
I am using Octane as the fuel of this bike and MOTUL 5100 10W30 semi-synthetic engine oil for my bike.
If I have to say about the negative side of this bike then I will start with the tail lamp, it requires more improvement. Same segment bike Hornet has X shape light in its back. Without that,
- No gear indicator at the carburetor version
- Tyre gripping needs to be improve
- I think the horn sound is not perfect.
Verdict: In my opinion one of the most well featured with the new touch of technology this bike is the most budget friendly. Though it is not possible to say exact about any bike before using it at least for 6000/7000 kilometers, after using this kind of time length we can figure out the good and bad sides of a bike along with some technical faults or good things. But after using it for a very short time I can say this bike is giving me good service certainly.
