TVS Apache RTR 160 user review by Majnu

Today I am here to share my one month bike riding experience with you all. Before I get started I want to give my introduction first. I am MD.Majnu and by the profession I am a service holder. The name of my motorcycle is TVS Apache RTR 160. I have bought this motorcycle for doing my personals works as well as my job works. At this age of modernity motorcycle is very helpful to save time and money and also helps us to reach our destination faster. Without that it also helpful at different situations and for that reason I always wanted to have a bike for myself but due to some family problems I couldn’t have one. So this motorcycle becomes the first motorcycle of my life. It purchased from Khan Motors, Puthia one month’s back. I have traveled around 500 kilometers within this time without facing any problems.

As this bike is a 160 cc bike and known as a sports category, so I must start with the design of this bike. Though the design remains the same as 150cc RTR but the newly added feature of RTR 160 makes the difference. I like the design of this model and the quality of the body plastics. Overall look of this motorcycle is charming and attractive by the way. Sometimes people watch me when I ride this bike so I think it is attractive indeed. Hopefully the build quality will be long lasting.

I like the engine performance very much. After using it for one month’s I didn’t found any problems at the engine. Powerful engine is placed for this machine and high speed riding is very satisfying with this bike. I observed that when I ride this bike on high speed no extra sound is heard and after crossing the speed of 65 the head portion of this bike vibrates, though I have personally accelerated this bike up to 72 KM/H speed only. I don’t think that is a big problem for me because I never prefer high speed riding for myself. In one day I made 45 kilometer ride with my motorcycle and I based on that journey I think riding this bike for a long time will not be a big problem at all. Most probably I made night ride for 4/5 days and I found excellent light from the headlamp. For that reason I can clearly see the roads and have a safe and comfortable journey. Electrical switches placed at the handle bar are not only good looking but also user friendly. Riding seat is perfect and because of that I can easily move with two pillions on my back, and the good quality suspension ensures my relaxed riding on both at the smoother and broken roads. On the other hand because of the brakes I can easily control this motorcycle whenever I need and tough conditions as well. So I personally think this motorcycle is perfect for both short and long journeys.

As I said my bike is one month old so within this time I took this thing for servicing once. But till now i didn’t found any bigger problem which I can share with you all. I like the place and their behavior was also pleasing with me. I was there for regular checkup and I like the way the completed their work. So that place is good enough to support their customers.

One thing I forget to tell about and that is the mileage. When I purchased this motorcycle from the showroom they told me that I can ride 50 Kilometers with one liter fuel. At present days I am getting 45 KM/L mileage though I am not worried about the mileage I am happy. I think the performance of the engine is the main thing and I am getting excellent performance from that so I am pleased.
If I have to talk about the price of this bike then I will say based on the quality, features and their performance this bike comes with perfect price tag. So if someone is interested to have a 160cc bike within reasonable price RTR 160 is not a bad choice at all because I have seen that because of the low price demand of RTR 160 is higher.

Bad sides:
- Vibrates at high speed

If someone wants to have a bike for high speed riding for them I will recommend Apache RTR 160. It has good performance and not only that design and mileage will also be satisfying. This bike has more interesting side then the bad one. After using this bike for ozone months these are my own finding and experiences.
