TVS Apache RTR 160 user review by Mosarroff Hossain

My name is Mosarroff Hossain, I live in 14th no ward of Rajshahi city. I am a bike lover since my childhood and now something like addicted to the motorcycles. Whatever, I started and learned to ride motorcycles through Honda HS 100cc. this was my father’s motorcycle and learned to ride when I was 12 years age. My father teaches me to ride bike then. After then I always in search have a chance to ride motorcycle and from this point of view I never let go any chance to ride motorcycle whoever it is, my friends or my father’s one. But my father never is tension free as I was young and reckless and very often never even try to see the meter of speed. Time has gone in this way when I become old enough to maintain my father’s business; my father took me with him. I had changed 3 motorcycles in the last 2.5 years. I have used Hero Glamour, hero Hunk, V15 of Bajaj and recently I am using TVS Company’s Apache RTR 160cc my one is made with Blue matt.

It just been 9 days since I am using my Apache RTR 160cc and as I hardly can move without my motorcycle and the same point of view, I have ridden my bike around 800 kilometers in these 9 days. So here I am today to share my 9 days experience with my motorcycle including both the positive and negative sides of my Apache RTR 160cc. Hope, this will be helpful enough for all of you and you are going to stay with me till the last.

There are some reasons behind purchasing this motorcycle. First of all, it is pretty stylish and different from others same time, its pick up is very fast, it can reach high speed in very short time. Secondly, this motorcycle has quite high demand by which I expecting a better resell value whenever I wish to sell.
I have to travel a lot due to my business purpose and I always prefer motorcycle in this tour. Just after purchasing this motorcycle, I made a tour on Sirajgonj. I have traveled 200 kilometers a day and my motorcycles average speed always remain in the mark of 60-65 kilometers per hour. I have picked up the top speed of 80 kilometers per hour so far. I have traveled a long distance with my motorcycle but can’t sense anything wrong with it till now. I don’t even feel any irritation in my hands or any part of my body while running on long rout. Although, I didn’t run my bike at a stretch rather took breaks and run again.

Its Engine is just charming in my eyes and its sound is just awesome and smooth. I don’t yet feel any vibration on my bike even picking up the high speed.

Its braking system is also excellent one in my point of view. Although I run my motorcycle in 60 – 65 kilometers per hour but I never feel anything less in the breaking system in my motorcycle. I didn’t feel any problem. It is good mention that many of the bikers often told that RTR’s breaking or control is not good at all but I personally think, it is totally depend on the matter of personal adaptability with bike control.

I never checked the mileage range but showroom told me that I will have 45 kilometers or so. In my current measurement, I think I am having 40 kilometers or so by which I am happy as because this one is a bike of 160cc.
I purchased this one from “Sakura Enterprise” of Ranibazar, Rajshahi. I changed the engine oil just after 4 days of purchasing this motorcycle. Their behavior is sincere enough in my point of view.
But this motorcycles seating position is not good at all to me. Whenever I am on the seating position, my legs never been as normal which causes pain in my legs. I think it would have been better if the seating is little higher.

I am feeling uncomfortable with the headlight as well. The headlight is unable to serve me the enough quantity of light while riding in night. Everything seems like obscure just a little away things. This is just horrible in my point of view. This is totally unexpected from a bike like Apache. I don’t yet told this matter in the servicing center but I hope I will have the exact solution of the following problem from the servicing center.

Same time, plastic parts over its body are not so strong in my point of view. I think those can be stronger than current one.

Good sides:
-Design is just charming enough
-Engine performance is up to the mark.

Negative sides:
-Headlight is not as powerful as it should be.
-Seating position would have been better.
-Body kits are not so tough.
