As salamu alaikum, my name is Sohel Rana and I am an employee by profession. My current location is in Ambagan area of Rajshahi city. I am an TVS Apache RTR 160cc user. Two wheelers is one of the major and popular vehicle of all class of people even this vehicle has a huge demand even on the market. Same time, general people are choosing their two wheelers according to their demand and ability. Meanwhile, I did the same as because a bike badly needed for my daily communication.
I was used to with 2/3 bikes before using this one as like Dayang 80, Hero Honda Splendor and Apache RTR 150cc. It is not a long time since I am using Apache RTR 160cc. Its only been 40 days. One thing I had noticed that, general users have a lot of demand on the bikes of TVS. Bike like Apache 150, TVS Metro are pretty common to have even on the root level. I have used Apache RTR 150cc and currently using 160cc only because of its over excellent look.
the main reason to purchase this bike is to made my way easy whenever I am to my office. I have to travel the distance to Sarda where is my office, 5 days in a week and my bike is supporting me nicely to commute this distance.
Its design is just over excellent and for this reason I switch to Apache RTR 160cc for 150cc. Its muscular design attract me in a different way. I always feel something different in comfort by riding this one. Its design is really good in my view but I am not satisfied with the plastics over its body. It seems to be very thin. I think, those are going to broke in just a lite accident or fall.
Engine is pretty powerful enough. When it was under break in period, it seems to be over heating all the time but once I completed the break in period, I hardly sense any over heat in the engine. Same time, I merely measured any bad noise in the engine. I have noticed the power of my bikes engine and I think it is far better then any other bikes of the same segment. I can pick up the exact speed with my bike whenever I want. I have ridden my bike 2300 kilometers in last 40 days and top speed is 105 kilometers per hour picked up by me.
Same time, I sense an excellent comfort while riding this one. Why because its seating position is not hard and I can touch the ground without any problem. When I was on the Apache 150cc, I felt a lot of irritation in my hands in the high speed but I hardly sense any in the Apache RTR 160cc. I don't even face any trouble to use the switches. On the other hand, I think the headlight is not so sharp as it should to have the clear view of the front. I hope company will take the exact measure to complete this matter in the next versions of their bike. I don't sense any major problem to ride my bike in the long route but I felt pain in my hands when I traveled around 300 kilometers a day.
Its suspensions support me finely by which I hardly can sense any shake even on the roads or villages but I can sense when I am on the rough road.
Breaking system is good enough and I always feel safe as because this bike has double disc break but rear wheel skids when I pull the break on running condition.
I am just happy with the mileage scale of my bike. Currently this one serving me the mileage range of 48 – 50 kilometer per liter. When I am to purchase this bike, showroom informs me the same on the matter of mileage. I am having over 50+ kilometers per liter whenever I am out of the city.
So far I have been to the service center just for once and I can't found anything negative in their service. They are pretty good in their behavior and their working environment is really praiseworthy.
As to comment on the matter of price of my bike? I think it is good enough by considering its performance and features.
There are some parts in my bike which are not positive in my view as like Headlamps light would have sharper, rear wheel skids in normal pulling of the breaks and gear shifting is not so easy.
I have an advice to the company and that is actually from all users. Rear wheel would be better if that one would wider from the current size.
I hope my review is going to help a lot specially to those who are thinking to have a bike of the same segment and it is better to confess that, 40 days is not an enough time to understand a bike properly and from this point of view, I have just mentioned those which I have sensed in the last 40 days.
Thanks to all for staying with me so long.
