TVS Apache RTR Motorcycle ownership review by Samar Kumar
Those people who is capable of riding bike, want to have a bike in every step of daily life as it reduce burden, saves time and money, and the most importantly insure self-dependence of going anywhere without the help of others. When I have learned biking it was just desire and later it becomes Need. I do not love biking for a particular reason, I love biking because I just love it. If someone asks me this question I will always be same. I learnt motorcycle riding in class 6 with the help of father and his motorcycle Splendor Plus.
Bike selection history:
Last year I requested my father to buy me a bike for my daily use. After two days my father assured me to buy me a bike within three months and till then he told me to use his Splendor. So latterly I have three months time to choose a perfect bike for me. Since then I searched at the showrooms, internet, blogs, many motorcycle sites and become confused between two motorcycles, and they are Yamaha FZS and TVS Apache RTR. Both are well featured and stylish. After long thinking I made my mind to have Apache RTR because it suits my personality, it is fuel efficient and most important it can deliver better speed at 150cc category. After I made my mind I heard that a new version of Apache RTR is coming named Matt Blue edition after two months, I became very happy because I was going to buy a bike within three months. So after two months at the beginning of the year Apache Matt Blue edition arrived and after two weeks I purchased one from my nearest showroom.
Ride experience with my Apache:
When I first ridden my bike I have a felling which can’t be compared with anything but I can say it was amazing. The power of the bike was surprised me a lot. I couldn’t track my bike when did I crossed the speed of speed 60 KM/H, it is supper fast and it has a very good throttle which works excellently. Since then I am riding my bike with pleasure. The riding position of my bike is really good and it can provide great comfort. Sort journeys of mine with this bike are very enjoyable but the gear shifting of this bike bothers me because it is very hard and sometimes I feel pain in my toes. Apart from this my ride experience with my bike is astonishing for seven months.
Fuel economy and top speed:
I have serviced my motorcycle for once in seven months when it crossed 2500 KM. At the beginning I have got 45 KM/L mileage but after servicing it increased and becomes 458-50 KM/L. As a sports category motorcycle this type of mileage is awesome. At the speed this motorcycle need no introduction because all knows that TVS has a racing DNA. After servicing my bike I personally ridden at the speed of 110 KM/H and one of my friends who is an expert biker crossed the speed of 125 KM/H. I am very happy with this type of speed but I usually ride my bike 60-70 KM/H speed.
The things I love about my bike:
- Dual Disc brakes with ABS at the front side
- Sports chassis.
- Fuel sufficient and can provide superb speed.
- Tubeless tyres.
- Great comfort during riding.
- Powerful engine side.
These things of my bike are the best part. I am totally pleased with all of their performance.
Cons:
We all know that nothing is perfect. We all just try to build something or to use something which is near perfect. In my opinion this motorcycle contains few bad sides along with the positives.
- This bike is very heavy that is why it is difficult to move easily at the crowded roads.
- Rear tyre of this bike is thin comparing with the other 150cc motorcycles.
- Gear shifting is hard.
- Sometimes engine vibrates much at the top speed.
Last Words:
This is all from me which I wanted to share about my bike with my personal view. At present days everyone likes to go for Bajaj, Yamaha, and Suzuki brand bikes. So if you see around you, you will watch different bikes from these brands around you. I will not suggest but I will make a request try Apache RTR, it won’t disappoint you. This bike is durable enough to use for long terms and it also reasonable in price according to its features.
