I was wondering to have a bike for myself. Though I was confused between Xblade and RTR, but one of my relative told me that, if I buy RTR from Kustia then I am going to have some extra bit of facilities. I stared to ask expert riders and RTR users, then I saw the Race edition just arrived at the local market. Combining all the suggestions and my attraction over the new Race edition I bought the bike one month back. I really like the graphics of this new bike. Though the design remains the same, but the new color graphics is just awesome. I am riding this bike for only 1000 kilometers and one member of Team motorcycle valley asked me to share my first impression about this bike. Before I start I would like to beg pardon if any mistakes are seen, all the opinions I am going to share are my very own experience.
- This bike has fast acceleration that we all know. On this new Race edition that acceleration remains the same, but with a smooth response. I think I am having smoother response from the acceleration, because I have tried other RTR bike as they are not as smoother as mine.
- Engine response is perfect, no lack of power. I can easily overtake other vehicles in need. Overheating is a problem I face. I think it is happening because of the break-in period. Without that I am pleased with engine performance.
- Mileage seems to be lower because of the break-in period. My bike is now giving me 38-40 KM/L in the city and 45 at the highway. I am not totally pleased, because I heard other RTR bikes always give 45+ mileage.
- Little bit vibration was felt when I accreted this bike up to 80 KM/H speed. Once I did that to check the acceleration and I felt vibration, but it can be ignored.
- Brakes are not very effective of this bike. On the other hand, this bike comes with high body weight. Due to the less effective brakes and massive body weight controlling this bike becomes harder sometimes. Mainly the cornering becomes very annoying.
- I often travel at night and I never feel disturbing, because of the electrical. Headlamp has enough power and other electrical features are very effective to me.
On the whole, if the mileage becomes more after the break-in period I am pleased. Because I cannot do anything with the body weight and brakes. They are built-in, so I have to get used to of it and ride safely.
