TVS Metro 100 motorcycle ownership review by Shaon
In modern world we all need a vehicle for easy and fast movement, and it will give more satisfaction if the vehicle is owned by the rider. In our country four wheelers and two wheelers are most popular as private vehicles. From these two I always have a weakness for motorcycles. Motorbikes are very easy to use at our country basis and it can be afforded by almost all kind of people. My name is Shaon and I am also a motorcycle rider, or else you can say a motorcycle lover. I have my own bike named TVS Metro 100. For few important reasons I have chosen this motorbike and I think my bike didn’t let me down. After I purchased this bike some experiences are gathered with my bike and know I will share my experiences and why I owned this motorcycle.
From young age I always wanted to have my own bike and every single moment I waited for the opportunity when I can buy me one. I wanted to purchase a bike because it is stylish, it can save your time as well as money and for the city traveling motorcycles are best I think. After a certain time I got an opportunity to have my own bike. According to my budget my requirements were fuel efficient and little bit stylish design. After searching few days I found a 100cc commuter bike named TVS Metro. This bike fulfilled all my requirements and one of the most important things is my father also feel affection for this motorcycle. I made my decision and pay money for this motorcycle.
After I started to use this motorcycle it seem little bit difficult for me, I don’t know the reasons but I feel uncomfortable at the starting days. Few days later I begin to feel good with my bike and after one week riding I believe that this motorcycle is made for me. It provides me awesome controlling, smooth and fast pick-up, better road grip and comfort. At the rainy day your bike will not skid that easily because of good tyres. Controlling is better to me because it is smaller in size and contains light weight. Because of the seating position riders didn’t need to be curved at the riding period. For city traveling no rider will need more then these.
Long journey with my bike
I made one long drive with my motorbike and I will not say it was a bad one. I went for a destination named Patul which is placed at the neighbor city of our Natore. More or less 180 kilometers I have ride that day and it was the highest ride of mine. On that day I got controlling, good speed, mileage was not an issue, and most importantly I was comfortable.
Pros
- Standard seating position.
- Good road grip of the tyres.
- Fuel efficient.
Cons
- Bike size is very smaller.
- Electrical side can be better.
Speed and mileage
This motorbike can be smaller in size but these two things can be compared with other large size 100 or 125cc motorcycles. At the mileage we all know that this bike is one of the best, I always get 65 plus mileage. Alongside the mileage I you cannot over look the speed. As a 100cc motorbike I have got 90 KM/H speed with it and it is really enjoyable as a commuter bike rider. So I am pretty much happy with these two belongings of my motorbike.
Bike maintenance
I think taking a good care of your motorcycle will raise the longevity of your bike and every single e parts. So I always try to take good care of my bike. Whenever I went out for riding I try to take dirt free bike with me. At the rainy season I was my motorcycle regularly to get rid of mud and dust. I always try to remove dust with wet stuff because It helps reduces scratches. Changing engine oil regularly and use good quality fuel is my habit.
Suggestions for others
This motorcycle is like brittle things. So its longevity depends on your personal use. It is not so durable and will not be able to take harsh riding all the time like sports or other commuter bikes. If you take good care it will give you good performance and last long. On the other hand if someone e want a well featured motorcycle in low budget then this motorcycle will be at the top of the list and this bike is perfect to learn motorcycle.
