TVS Metro 100 user review by Dollar Hossain

I am Dollar hossain and I am a service holder. I live in Uposohor, Rajshahi. I am doing my service at the British American Tobacco company (sells Department). For this reason I have to travel around the whole city, without that I also need a better vehicle to move on and in the city roads motorcycle is the best option I think. In my personal opinion no other vehicle is as much comfortable as motorcycles at the city roads. With a bike I can easily move at the traffic of the city and even I can ride with enjoyment. Also for my profession a bike is a best option for communicating at the market and for that I think commuter bikes like Dayang 80, Discover 100 or Apache RTR 150 are the best options. I have used these bikes but those were not mine, and after using them I realized I need a bike of my own.

My need from a bike was mileage and better looks. Without that it might be matched with my personality.

I was searching a bike of my need and that’s was in a reasonable price, and on that situation I bought TVS Metro 100 based on the advice of my neighbor user. This bike is really perfect for me, it has good looks, excellent mileage and also it is available in reasonable price.

This bike holds good design and overall body material is also perfect I guess. Most of the time I have to ride with more than one pillion and this bike is powerful on that note. Outlook is good looking to all. Though the bike looks smaller in size but for the city roads it is perfect as a machine because I am travelling the whole city with it without facing any problems. Even at the village roads I get good riding experience.

I personally enjoy my rides with my bike and I travel the whole city with it. So I must admire TVS Metro is a standard bike and as I said the boy parts are durable enough to support for long time.

For the last seven months I am using this motorcycle and it has run 6700 kilometers path. In this period I never found any big problems actually, people used to say this bikes engine heats up early but I don’t even find that as a problem. I am getting pleasing performance from the engine, excellent sound and no overheating. It has enough power to offer good acceleration. I have personally got 75 KM/H speed. I didn’t have a chance to make long journey with my bike but I have traveled 30 Kilometers once with it and I was satisfied with the performance. No problems occurred when I was riding at the high speed, I mean no back or wrist pain. I feel really comfortable when I use it because the seating position is perfect. I can easily touch my both feet on the ground and for that it can be controlled easily. The combination of the riding seat and the handle bar is also very perfect so no troubles with the comfort. One thing is seen as a problem and that is the body weight, this bike holds light weight and for that reason high speed riding is a problem, on that situation this bike floats on the air and it becomes harder to control. In general I never ride my bike for long time, only when I need. So I am getting better service. Electrical switches placed at the handle bar are good looking and smooth enough for using. And another reason for comfortable riding is the suspensions of this bike I am getting great support from them.

Braking system is perfect of this bike and I think nothing needed to be added for the braking. Tyres are thinner and for that they skids while braking. I am worried about this matter because this can be a good sign for a rider or for the bike.

I am getting 55-57 kilometers mileage form my bike and with all the pother good things it is also a good side of this bike. This was also a big reason behind having this bike. I heard about that sometimes people buy this bike only based on the mileage. I used to have 60 KM/L mileage at the beginning but now it reduced a little bit, though I am happy.
If I have to say about the servicing center then I will say they are really well behaved and they are full of instruments. For that reason they also offer good servicing for their customers.

Based on the overall performance and all the things I must say the price of this bike is perfect.

I have a request for the manufacturing company, if it is possible then make the tyres little bit wider because doing that will increase the rider’s confidence. Only one thing I dint like about this bike is the tyres. I personally think to maintain the reputation of this bike the tyres quality and thickness need to be improved. So the company can take this as an advice or as a request.

I am using a 100cc bike and I am still enjoying my rides, so if I need to change this bike for a certain reason then I will go for 150cc segment and in that segment most probably I will choose Bajaj Pulsar 150.
