TVS Metro Vs Hero iSmart
In Bangladesh different companies from dissimilar countries are available to provide various types of motorcycles. Among those companies two Indian companies will be found and they are TVS and Hero. These two Indian motorcycles company imports their quality products to Bangladesh. In local market there are two popular motorcycles available from these two companies at the 100cc categories which are TVS Metro and Hero iSmart. At the 100cc category these two motorcycles are very popular and loved by all because both are stylish, well featured and most importantly they are fuel economic. But there are some difference between their features and looks. From bellow the lines let’s compare their feature which will be helpful to know about these two motorcycles.Dimension and looks:
Good outlooks depend on good dimension. These two motorcycles contain good dimensions and for these reason a commuter category motorcycles both are really stylish at their outlooks. At the dimension Hero iSmart contains 1965mm length, 770mm width and 1095mm height. At the ground clearance this bikes contains 160mm and wheelbase of 1235mm. kerb weight of this bike is 110 Kg. on the other Hand dimension of TVS Metro are almost similar with iSmart but at the ground clearance and at the wheelbase they are not the same. At the wheelbase it has 1250 mm which is larger than iSmart. This bike contains a kerb weight of 108 Kg. As a commuter category motorcycle both these motorcycles are good at dimension that’s why their outlooks are also very stylish and their color combinations are also very well.
Engine type:
At this side TVS Metro and Hero iSmart both are well made. TVS Metro contains an engine of 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled.99.7cc. This engine can produce 5.50 kW (7.5 bhp) @ 7500 rpm max power and 7.5 Nm @ 5000 rpm max torque. This engine can give 80 KM/H (Approx) top speed and mileage of 60 KM/L (Approx). On the other side Hero iSmart has 97cc Single Cylinder, Air cooling Four Strokes engine with 7.5 KW @ 7500 rpm max power and 8 Nm @ 5000 rpm. This engine can give 85 KM/H (Approx) top speed. At the mileage this bike is the mileage king, it will give a mileage of 90 KM/L (Approx) which is the best mileage of among all motorcycles available in our country.
Suspension and brakes:
These two things are very important for a motorcycle and at this side both these commuter bikes are standard in quality. Hero iSmart contains Telescopic Hydraulic Shock Absorbers suspension at the front side Swingarm with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber suspension at the rear side. At the brakes it has Drum brakes at both sides. On the other hand TVS Metro contains telescopic suspensions at the both side and the braking of these two bikes are the same.
These are the common features of these two popular commuter motorcycles. Now it is up to the riders to decide which one is better for their use.
