TVS Phoenix user review by Rasel

I am MD. Rasel Ahmed Rony, currently I am a student of Edward College, Pabna. Because I live in a village that’s why I have chosen a bike for my transportation and for many days I am using TVS Phoenix 125. For three years this bike is with me.

I am very passionate about motorcycles from my childhood and whenever I got a chance to ride a bike I make it count. Before this motorcycle I have used Bajaj Discover 150 and after purchasing TVS Phoenix I have travelled almost 50000 kilometers with it. Today I am going to share all of my riding experiences and watching which I had seen within these three years of my TVS Phoenix.




Design and build quality
First of all I want tell about the design and body structure of my bike, and I would say a as a 125cc commuter bike it is satisfactory. One of the most loveable things about this bike is its decent graphics excellently matched with the fuel tanker and the color combination. I ting there are no lacking at the overall build quality and the design. I like the design of all the body parts but the shades of alloy rims are poor in quality.





Comfort
I feel very comfortable during my ride with this bike and I think as 125cc motorcycle it is pleasant. Firstly the seating position is very comfortable and riding with two pillions is not a matter of concern at this bike. Though we don’t have the permission for riding with two pillions along with the rider but I have travelled and I was comfortable. I had never felt any kind of back pain after riding for long time because of the seating position of my bike. There is great combination of seating position and the handlebar which offer relaxed riding. Night riding experience with bike is also enjoyable because of the comfortable seat and user-friendly handlebar I was always relaxed. I didn’t have to find any electrical switches because all are known and positioned at the known places like the other bikes and no lacking of the headlamp power. Better and smooth suspensions offered me relaxed ride at any road conditions as well.





Controlling
In one word I am not totally satisfied with the controlling of my bike. Because when I ride at good speed I feel I have lost the control of my bike. One of the other problems during ride at good speed is the vibration, that’s why riding becomes difficult. At the top speed this bike flow with the air and gripping with the surface got reduced which I think a big problem. But I think the tires are perfect as 125cc bike. With this type of tire I had travelled at the villages roads full of mud but I have got better grip. Both the tires providers better road grip and that’s why they don’t skid much at any road conditions. Good braking provided me better support for controlling this bike. Combination of Disc and drum makes me satisfied a little bit.

Engine performance
Once I have ridden almost 200 kilometers at a time and I felt lack of power as a 125cc engine because the acceleration was little bit slower. Though I felt the engine power is not sufficient but I was able to accelerate up to 90 KM/H speed which I liked because it can be raised more but I didn’t get the chance to do it. I am satisfied with the mileage which I think should be in a range of is 65-70 KM/L according to my use. Sometimes I forget when I filled the fuel tanker, so worries with the mileage that I can say.

I have serviced my bike for few times and small works very often and I think the behaviors of the servicing center, their working ability, service charge all are pleasing. TVS bikes parts are available all over Bangladesh that’s why now worries about them. I often check my bike for better performance and visit the servicing center for their regular opinion for fixing the bike.

Finally I would like to say according to the price and as the 125cc segment bike it is perfect with its feature and performance. I think it is ideal for using and if someone asks for my overall ratings I will give 4 out of 5.
