TVS Stryker 16000km riding experiences by MD Hasan Ali

For the last 16000 kilometers I am using TVS Stryker 125. Before this bike I have used several bikes in my life and all of them were for regular travelling. Among them I felt this bike is one of the best. I bought this bike from Khan Motors Puthia one year back. I heard a lot of applause about this bike, which is why I decided to buy this bike and TVS is also one of my favorite brand. After having this bike I am using it in daily purpose and gathered a few knowledge’s about this bike. Today I would like to share those views with you all.

Before I start sharing my views about this bike I would like to share my few bad feeling about the place where I bought this bike. Khan Motors Puthia, this place is a good place to buy TVS bikes, but not a good place to have after sells service. They will behave gently when you buy the bike, but after having it they just change in a blink. I have visited there for several services and most of the time they didn’t behaved well. Furthermore, they are short of original parts and charges more than any other service center. Even you have service warranty they will say your bike is out of warranty. That is the worst experience I had.

However, let me tell you about this bike. As I said this bike is with me for a long time and I am using it for a daily purpose, my overall experience with it is excellent. I had chosen this bike because of the look and color combination, so I don’t have anything to say special about this side. I can comfortably handle my bike in any situation, no doubt the brakes works well as a 125cc bike. Suspensions gives better performance than any other 125cc bike in any road condition according to my view. Body plastics and the build quality is excellent, except the Silencer pipe. Within a very short time the silences hole started to become damage and after a few days I find out small holes surrounding the silencer pipe. To solve this problem I visited the showroom and they said it can happen you have to change, but I don’t think it generally happens to other bikes.

Mileage and speed performance is excellent. I am getting near around 55-60 KM/L mileage. If I mention the speed, this bike has a smooth and fast acceleration. On average I ride 70-80 KM/H speed on the high ways. I think the speed is also perfect like the mileage. I ride this bike at night and I am satisfied with the electrical performance.
