TVS XL 100 Feature Review

This Moped category bike from TVS can be smaller in size but offered with excellent features within very reasonable price. Design and Dimension
Talking about the design of this small size moped bike we will have classical look in it, stylish color combination and better graphics at the fuel tanker, decent rear and front headlamps, comfortable seating position and overall good dimension for the riders. At the dimension this bike is offered with 2020mm length, 750mm width, and 1110mm width. Along with those it has 1215mm wheelbase, 155mm ground clearance, 770mm seat height. For better riding experience manufacturing company has given this bike 80 KG total weight which can easily carry heavier loads and hopefully the combination of the design and dimension will give the riders better riding experience.




Engine
TVS XL bike is powered by a 99.7cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine, which delivers 4bhp/ 3.10 KW max power and 6.3 Nm of max torque. The engine is mated to a single-speed auto gearbox with a centrifugal wet clutch. The ignition system of this bike is Fly wheel magneto 12V, 90W @ 5000 rpm. For startup the engine this bike has only kick starting option. According to the manufacturing company this kind of engine will provide 67KM/L mileage approx and 70 KM/H approx speed.




Electrical
This 100cc moped contains all the needed features at the meter console and electrical side. At the electrical it has 12V-35/35W head lamp, 12V-5W tail lamp, 12V-10W signal lamps. This bike didn’t have any battery which is the interesting matter of this bike. At the meter console simple but needed features. It has analogue Speedometer, fuel gauge, high-low beam indicator, etc.




Tire and Brakes
At the tires we will found both side same size tyres which are 2.5 X 16. And they are placed over spoke type wheels. Company claims these tyres will provide better grip and mileage.
At brakes it has 80mm Drum brakes at the front and 110mm Drum brakes at the rear side. Though this bike has both side drum brakes but they well enough to offer good braking.




Suspension
At the suspensions this bike has Telescopic spring type hydraulic suspension at the front side and Swing arm with hydraulic shocks suspension at the rear side. Hopefully they will provide high class performance for the riders.

Finally after watching all these features it can be said that this 100cc Moped category bike it has almost the needed features a rider will need no it’s up to the performance. TVS XL 100 is available in five paint schemes – blue, red, green, gray and black.
