UM Runner Renegade Commando First Impression Review by Rakin Absar Arnob

The first thing is going to come in your when you are thinking to purchase a motorcycle is the risk. This is not like you are the only person who feels like this rather this type of feelings often put in your head through the people around us. If your choice is slightly different then you are not going to have any hiding place. Just like I have faced while purchasing my one.

There is very few variety in the bikes on Bangladesh this is why we have to made our decision by measuring in the few of those. I am a Cruiser lover from the beginning of my bike riding and I was searching a bike of the same category when I made my mind to have a motorcycle of my own. It is something like a dream that come true with my hand. But it’s an interesting matter that there is some specialist and with the advice of my friends I was coming out of my decision to purchase a Cruiser motorcycle. They all have suggest me the same suggestion that these types of bike rarely run on the roads of Bangladesh and its parts are not so available as the others bikes do and there are more stories as well. But they can’t get me out of the Renegade Commando from United Motors from my mind.

My hobby and wish was searching for a Cruiser bike like this one. Whatever the negativity this one has. I was determined to have this one. Ruuner Automobiles is the dealer of United Motors in Bangladesh. In the last I have seen this motorcycle on showroom of Runner located on Tejgaon, Dhaka. This was the time when I made my decision to have this motorcycle and I started to gathering money but it took a long while. When I was ready Corona has made appearance in Bangladesh and every business was to shutting down in the last of March. But I can’t reverse my long cherished dream to have this motorcycle.

I live in Dhaka due to the study purpose but right now I am on Rajshahi for unexpected holiday for the Corona epidemic. Just on the time I prepared to purchase this motorcycle I made a phone call to the office of Runner Automobiles. When they confirmed me that they have this motorcycle ion their stock I pain the money on the Bank of Farmget branch with my father and they have delivered my dream motorcycle through Sundarban Currier Service in just 2 days. I can’t help but to Thanks the officer of Runner Automobiles Mahmud Vai and Hossain vai. The first riding experience was just more than up to the mark. You may hope the answer that how good it could be? I have sensed about this motorcycle through the review that this one is too heavy to have the proper control over this when on the traffic. Same time, problem to turn easily on the narrow road or streets. Switches on the handlebar are not close to the hand and this is why I have feel irritation to use the indicator switch or the engine power on off switch. But these are not so acute problem rather no problem in my point of view.


Actually I have doubt over its actual size that this is not as big as people are often talking about it. One of the most comfortable parts of this motorcycle is its seating position. I merely have to give any afford to ride this motorcycle just because of the seating position. I am hoping that I am going to have more than good enough advantage from this motorcycle while touring on the Rajshahi – Dhaka highways and I am going to mention the experience in the next review In sha Allah. the part of this motorcycle that can’t make me impress is it’s looking glass. Looking glass used on this motorcycle is not so well quality. I am going to change those very recently. As because those are looking glass so I don’t have to think about expenses. There is one more thing that make me feel irritate and it is the tool box and I have to took my motorcycle on the service center of Runner in Rajshahi. Usually the tool box kept on the middle of the two wheels. First this one need to open through the key then there is a corridor or chamber on the top of the box. Generally tool box located on that space and this place is safe but it is painful to take necessary equipments out of it. There is chamber under the rear seating position and it is also tough to use why because it is not so easy to put on the seating position as like others bikes. This motorcycle both seating position attached with the screw. So if you want to use the tool box below the rear seating position then you have to put out the tool box from the safe place then screw out the seating then you can use it.

There is one more thing is good to mention about this motorcycle. This could be positive for some people and negative for some as well and it is curious mood of the general people over this one. When you are on the road with this motorcycle then you must have to answer of the question of the curious people at least to the 10 persons. Wherever you go people will ask you by wasting 20 seconds of their life. Some people will gazing towards your bike like you are running a horse on the road or something like and you can notice their expression with angler of your eyes. Same time at least 10 persons will stop you just ask some question about your bike whatever the speed of your bike and they will be your known persons.

I can’t mention anything more about my motorcycle as because this one is just from my first expression over it. I hope I am to uphold a complete review after completing the break in period.
