Alligator green 2016 of Yamaha FI series, I had ridden this bike 2 months and 8000 kilometer and just fall in the love with this bike even after having some problems in the bike. When the model of 17 is available in the market and I see fair burning red, this just make me crazy. With the help of Arif vai (Saad Ahnaaf) I sold FG in just an hour and purchased “Burning Red” of 17 model from “Jomjom Motors” of Velanogor, Norsingdi. Already 6 months had passed with this bike. As this bike was from the starting of this year and thats why non wearing chain was installed to it and just after my notice “Rony vai” Zamzam motors changed the chain with V1's wearing chain and then I start my journey with “Fazer”.

Basically, I like ride stock bike as I always ride bike in a ideal speed, after that for my habit, I set Iridium plug and Moto LED in my bike.

This is good to say that, I never maintain so called brake in with my “Fazer” but in the each gear I touched the red light and this way I ridden this bike till 500 kilometers and never ride in a rough way rather I picked up the top speed very slowly. Same time, it also better to mention a fact that, In this 500 kilometers I gone to the maximum speed of 115 kilometers per hour. Personally I call this a hard brake in and in this system, I ridden this bike till 500 kilometers and then drain the engine oil by switching with “Synthetic Motul 7100. This will be somehow amazing for you to hear that, I never use any Mineral Engine Oil in my Fair.

Just after crossing the 500 kilometers, I was thinking to making a n experience of long tour. Here are the spot in which I have traveled so far, started from Gazipur to Norsingdi, Bhoirob, Kishorganj, B baria, Sylhet, Bichanakandi, Jaflong, Tamabil, Lalkhal, Shri mongol, Mymenshing, Sherpur, Jamalpur, Cumilla, Sitakundo, Bashbaria, Kumiraghath, Chittagang, Coxbazar, Technaf, Ukhia, Bandarban, Rangamati, Kaptai, Khagrachori along with Sajekvalley and there are so many others place of my country. During this 11000 kilometer riding, it never fall me in the depression. Its balance, braking, comfort, air passing, cornering make me just charmed on this bike. As to follow the routine, after crossing the 5000 kilometers I have changed the front and rear braking pad and air filter, washed the throttle and clutch cable. Same thing I did after 10000 kilometers. Actually, I don't make any heavy change or servicing without changing the engine oil and the regular check up. There are many complain on FI but I have no complain on this bike why because, I always tried to maintain this bike properly. Problem in the chain was the National problem.

I took free service for 2 times and those were only just the basic checks up. After 4500 kilometers I face some trouble in the ball racer and I opened it and check out the problem and re install, not even a problem till now in my bike. I have cleaned the fuel injector after 8000 kilometer with a heavy fear why because I know this short of service centers use Octen rather to use injector cleaning oil. On the matter of sound problem of my bike, I checked ideal RPM in the hot engine by Sheikh Zahid Mahmud after then I never feel any sound problem till now. Same person check out and serves the clutch, free play of the throttle and tension of the chain, by having all these I'm charming with the performance of my “Fair”

As its plastic quality, paint quality it doesn't go with the brand like Yamaha. Ground clearance is ok when the rider is alone but not good when with the pillion. As the speed breaker of Bangladesh, it never let ride with pleasant. Headlights light become dim because of its low ampere battery and thats its better to charge it with the duration of the time.
As its sound is little bit rough, after riding it for a long time, its become more rough then it is.

If the right RPM is not settle up then the tapet become loose very soon. It often switched off don't start in the running only because of right RPM. Its ball racer, housing of the clutch plate is not in the quality like expectation.

Its pillion seat is very comfortable. Its hard to find a bike like this for a long tour. If the idol RPM settle on the 1400 in the hot engine, then it is easily expected that, before 10000, there is no need to valve clearance. As it is FI Engine and mileage is on the high and thats why its been updated from so many side for this reason, it is important to maintain this one very carefully. If you service it with the inexperience mechanic then problem is not going to left you. This is a sensor based bike, so that FI diagnosis and FI tools is must needed to work with it otherwise the pure tension will be all yours. They have sold so many bikes in the Asia but cannot create well trained mechanic team which is really pathetic for the FI lovers like us. As the others FI users of the others division, they are passing their days with a heavy depression. It better to mention that for the Asian management and official that, you are already have made an excellent thing to the bike sector of Bangladesh which were even imagined by the others company and my request for now is, please serve some well trained technician to us. Check out what you are serving in the name of “Yamalube”. To ride with it more then 400 kilometers means, just burning our legs. Many biker purchase this often in 600 taka. I don't know why you guy's serving such low quality engine oil by reducing the price?? if you think it is necessary to take 700 taka then ok but we want “Yamalube” of the previous quality. Current one is not even worth of criticize.

At the last I want to say that, I having the mileage of 41/42 continuously. I found its top speed of 125 kilometer per hour but I never inspire anyone to do so. Its sound is normally rush where I used Motul 7100 and ridden it till 10300 kilometer by which it become more rush but I'm pretty happy to use Motul although, last to of it gives a huge pain and thats why, to make an experiment just after 10300 kilometer I install ZIC M9 but this is yet not the time to say anything about it. But I can say that after using this engine oil, its sound, heating problems reduced in a large number and I'm having the feelings of high quality smooth acceleration. Now I thinking that FI is really a bike of different level.
