Yamaha FZS 150 Motorcycle Ownership Review by Mustafizur Rahman Shojib

My name is Shojib and I am a great motorcycle lover from my upbringing age. When I was in class four my passion about this vehicle increased vary badly. When I got admitted to high school my father teaches me to ride this attractive vehicle. After that for six years I have ridded my father’s motorcycle. When I passed my higher secondary exams my father bought me a new motorcycle named FZS which I used to dreamed of. I love this bike because of its fatty tyres and its extraordinary looks.   Three years have passed I am riding this bike with great satisfaction that’s why I can say my decision was not bad at all about purchasing this bike. This bike can be used for long times because body parts and other features are really very advanced for using and all parts are very durable enough.

This motorcycle is shaped with great sporty outlooks which contains well made design also. This motorcycle is built with aerodynamic design. Paint quality is very good and if you look at the bike from the front side you won’t be able to remove your eyes. As 150cc motorcycle this bike is able to catch your eyes properly which it does with me.

Now from bellow the lines I will split little experience about this motorcycle which will help the other rider to buy this bike.

- Comfortable enough to ride at any roads.
- Strong and durable.
- Low maintenance.

Comfortness depends on good design and at this side this motorcycle is built with good dimension. In my personal experience this motorcycle is easy to control for its sporty design. At the top speed sometimes few motorcycles vibrates which is unusual thing with this bike. Cornering with FZS is not so tough because this bike holds good dimension and ground clearance. So overall at the controlling I got very good controlling with this bike that is why I feel very comfortable with this bike during riding.

Speed and mileage:

With the top speed no rider won’t be disappoint with this bike so do I. From the very beginning this bike is always best at its top speed. I have crossed the speed of 110 KM/H because of good tyres this bike provides good grip that’s why top speed differs. This bike doesn’t disappoint me at all the mileage performance. I have got 30 plus KM/L mileage from the beginning and it is almost the same at present.

Engine performance:

Engine side of this bike is very pleasant because Yamaha doesn’t compromise with their product engine. I am totally satisfied because this bike doesn’t bother me with its engine performance.  With Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC 150cc engine and max power of 14PS @ 7500 rpm and torque of 13.6N m @ 6500 rpm this bike gives me superior quality without any uncertainty. For past three years I am using this bike and I haven’t faced any problem with the engine. Engine sound of this motorcycle remains the same after almost and this thing pleased me so much.

Long drive experience:

I used to travel short journeys journeys with my bike. But I travelled 40 or 50 KM journey with this bike. In my experience this bike is able to provide mileage, speed and comfort all three at the long journeys but sometimes bike vibrates much at the top speed during long journey and that time engine needs rest for a while. Sometimes I had to face some difficulties also because this reason.

Braking experience:

Braking side of this bike is just awesome and effective. At the brakes this motorcycle contains Disc brakes at the front and Drum Brakes at rear side. This type of braking is really very effective at different types of situation I am very satisfied with the performance. This bike also contains good suspensions I have experienced very smooth riding with the help of these suspensions. So in my decision this bike contains good brakes and suspension which are helpful to different situations.

Pros:

-0-60 KM speed at 10/ 12sec.
- Healthy performance of the engine.
- Strong enough to carry weight with good speed.
- Very stylish and available with attractive colors.

Cons:

- Not fuel efficient.

After three years with this bike I always feel I am riding new bike because servicing bike is really important for your own. I have never delayed for the servicing my bike. So I will also suggest the other riders to do so for their good riding experience and better performance of the bike.
