Design and style:
The new MT DNA comes with the concept of Mass Concentration that brings in Swiftness and an uncompromising hyper naked style! Bi Functional LED headlight, Chin down face design reunion with the upright forks gives this bike a beast look which MT series is known for. The muscular round tank wears armor-like plastic resin. The short rising tail lamp, the front winglets, radiator side fins and the upright sitting position gives it an agile riding experience. Therefore we can say that's how a true Dark Warrior looks like.



Engine and technology:
This dark warrior come with155cc Liquid Cooled 4V SOHC FI engine which generates an impressive 19.3PS @ 10,000 RPM max power and 14.7 N.m @ 8500 RPM max torque. While it has Variable Valve Actuation system (VVA) which monitors the rider's improve performance even at low RPM. The Hyper Naked performance with VVA delivers 0 - 60km/h in just 3.78 sec which is claimed by the manufacturer itself, the fastest in its class! Not only that A&S (assist and slipper) clutch is adopted to reduce the weight of the clutch pull and provide low-stress shifting during deceleration. The A&S helps to reduce exhaustion for the rider. Because of this technology clutch becomes smooth, and enjoyable during downshifts. On the other hand The MT 15 contains 6-speed transmission which allows to cruise at low RPM even in higher gears. 11.6:1 compression ratio is set for this engine and electric starting option is found to fire up.

Frame and dimension:
For the excellent rigidity balance the new MT15 adopts a new Deltabox frame. Over this chassis a new attractive dimension is set for the Dark Warrior. It has Overall length of 2,020 mm, width of 800 mm, 1,070 mm Height. Seat height is set 810 mm and the Wheel base is 1,335 mm. Minimum ground clearance for this bike is measured 155 mm. including full oil and fuel tank the Curb weight of MT 15 is 138 kg. The fuel tank capacity is 10L.

Suspensions and brakes:
For the suspension system as usual Telescopic forks are placed at the front and the classy Swing arm, (Link suspension) are seen at the rear side.
For the brakes front Disc with Bosch Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) helps in achieving improved braking performance by providing better stability and control at all speeds without any wheel lockups and skidding even in slippery conditions. Rear Disc brakes also provides good efforts for more quality braking. Single channel ABS is the new added feature for this bike which is mated with Hydraulic (282 mm)disc at the front and rear Disc measurement is 220 mm.



Wheels and tires:
On both side Alloy wheels tubeless tires are placed. The measurement of front Wheel travel is 130 mm and the rear one is 97mm. tires size are measured 100/80-17M/C 52P at the front and 140/70-17M/C 66H at the rear side.



Electrical:
For all the electrical 12V,4.0Ah (10HR) battery is placed for MT 15. To take on the darkest streets with confidence and enjoy enhanced night vision Bi Functional LED headlight is placed for this bike. Hi and low beam has been integrated into one single compact unit which makes it technically advanced and a first it's category. The raised tail lamp of this dark warrior demands attention with its super sleek and edgy LED light through the dark. Without LED turn lamps are also seen here.

Negative LCD meter cluster with Gear Shift Indication:
The instrument panel has been borrowed from the new YZF-R15 V3.0 and gets a negative LCD display.Its multi-function negative instrument cluster with gear shift light indicator, VVA indicator, mileage indicator and a USB charging port stands out even in the darkest corner of the city because the LCD instrument cluster panel has a black background and white lettering. Digital speedometer, bar-style tachometer above, and a fuel gauge are constantly displayed, along with ABS warning lamp while the odometer, Trip 1, Trip 2, F Trip, clock and others can be selected for display.


Deduction:
This technologically advanced and dynamically designed bike from Yamaha is available with two colors to choose and they are, Metallic Black and Dark Matt Blue. After watching all the advanced technologies which are almost similar to R15 V3 it can be considered that this naked version also perform the same and also the craze will be the same for this Dark Warrior.
