3. Variable Valve Actuation (VVA)

As a 150cc motorcycle Yamaha is the first brand to introduce VVA on their new 155.1cc, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine for Yamaha R15 V3. Having this technology, R15 V3 gets the advantage to deliver linear power throughout the rev band. This helps in achieving a thrilling ride in both low and high rpm range riding conditions. Similarly, MT15 also gets this support, as a result, same performance seen by MT 15.

Yamaha claims at least 140 KM/H top speed from the MT 15, while the acceleration response is so aggressive. 0-100kmph takes around 10.5 seconds. On the other hand, having larger setup in every sectors, MT 15gives at least 40 Km/L mileage.

Yamaha is using a Negative back-lit all-digital console for R15 V 3.0. The unit looks awesome and perfectly derived from race-spec options. The wide display offers gear indicator, top speed, horizontally visible tachometer, and a ABS indicator.

6. Wide Tyres:

140/70-17 section rear tyres gives Yamaha MT 15 more grip on roads. Due to the tyres, users not only gets excellent riding stability and cornering experiences, but also it has perfect rear look.

7. Single-Channel ABS:

ABS now has become users demand and the Yamaha MT 15 Single channel ABS support. The system helps the rider stay safe on wet roads and also gives perfect braking experience in every road condition.

1. Poor LED Headlights:

Yamaha MT comes with LED headlights that are smaller and smarter. But on the downside, the illumination offered by the LED headlight is poor in comparison to other bikes of this segment.

2. Cramped seat:

Swing a leg over the MT-15 and you might find yourself a bit cramped up. That’s because the handlebar is positioned quite close to the rider. Pair this with its upright ergonomics and rear-seat foot pegs and you might find yourself in a super moto-like riding position.
