MT 15 V2 Overview:
Yet another surprise for the Naked Sports Lovers is now available in town, the second generation of the Dark side of Japan Yes it is MT15 V2. Carrying the legacy of MT series, the new MT-15 V2.0 brings more aggression and agility. Yamaha MT-15 V2 is constructed with the same concept like before, but in a new package, thus it’s based on the R15 V4 and has received some major updates in the latest repetition. Lot more to talk about however, after the cosmetics changes one of the eye catchy makeover for this bike is MT-15 V2 now brings in new updates like a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity (Y-connect). It gives you access to phone calls/SMS/email alerts, phone battery status, malfunction notifications, and last parked location.

MT15 V2.0 Design and Looks:
Basic concept remains the same, but it seems like this bike has something new to look at. The Transformers- look alike LED headlight is edged by bulb indicators. The sculpted fuel tank with shrouds and the wide handlebar complete the MT-15 V2’s aggressive look. The muscular round tank wears armor-like plastic resin, short but raised tail lamp, the front winglets, radiator side fins and the upright sitting position remains like the same as previous version. However, the graphics is now more attractive and multi combination for this variant gives it a new charm.



MT 15 V2.0 Engine Features:
The Version 2 of Dark Warrior is powered by the R15 V4-sourced 155cc liquid-cooled VVA Fi engine which is tuned to develop 18.4bhp max power and 14.1Nm max torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch as well. VVA will take care of riders improve performance even at low RPM. On the other side Assist Slipper clutch will work for low-stress shifting during any sort of ride situation. 0 - 60km/h in just 3.78 sec which is claimed by the manufacturer itself, and makes this bike fastest in its class!



MT 15 V2.0 Body Dimension:
MT-15 Ver 2.0 adopts a Deltabox frame with superb rigidity balance. With a Deltabox frame, the top and bottom of the head pipe and the pivot points form a triangle, hence the “Deltabox” gives it excellent rigidity balance. This bike is now more compact in size it has Overall length of 2015 mm, width of 800 mm, 1,070 mm Height. Seat height is set 810 mm and the Wheel base is 1,325 mm. Minimum ground clearance for this bike is measured higher now and that is 170mm. including full oil and fuel tank the Curb weight of MT 15 V2.0 is now 139 kg. The fuel tank capacity is 10L.



MT 15 V2.0 Suspension and Brakes:
For the suspension system as V2 gets excellent upgrade with USD suspensions at the front. The structure of the Upside Down front forks allows wheel gets ample room for free movement, which makes it easier for the bike to navigate and change directions at higher speeds, making it more agile, true to the character of MT-15. Rear Mono-shock absorber equipped with Aluminium Swingarm provides sportier and stable handling due to excellent rigidity balance.
For the brakes front Disc with Bosch Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) helps in achieving improved braking performance by providing better stability and control at all speeds without any wheel lockups and skidding even in slippery conditions. Rear Disc brakes also provides good efforts for more quality braking. Single channel ABS is the new added feature for this bike which is mated with Hydraulic (282 mm) disc at the front and rear Disc measurement is 220 mm



MT 15 V2.0 Tyres and Wheel:
This bike rides on 17-inch alloys which are wrapped in 100/80 front and 140/70 rear tyres. The 140mm radial rear tyre has been adapted with flexible sidewalls for better grip while cornering and has superior shock-absorbing capacity to ensure a more comfortable ride.



MT 15 V2.0 Meter Cluster:
The instrument panel has been borrowed from the new YZF-R15 V4.0 and gets a negative LCD display. Its multi-function negative instrument cluster with gear shift light indicator, VVA indicator, mileage indicator and a USB charging port stands out even in the darkest corner of the city because the Negative LCD instrument cluster Digital speedometer, bar-style tachometer above, and a fuel gauge are constantly displayed, along with ABS warning lamp while the odometer, trip 1, Trip 2, F Trip, clock etc can be seen at display. Finally, the new update is instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity (Y-connect). It gives you access to phone calls/SMS/email alerts, phone battery status, malfunction notifications, and last parked location.

Final words:
Yamaha the MT-15 V2 comes in Different color schemes and now they look more fantastic. Based on the Price, which is set by ACI Motors LTD this bike seems to be a bit overpriced, on the other hand marking the previous Track record of MT series it can be said this bike will also be able to satisfy the users with its charm and performance. Comparing to other competitors this classy piece always stayed on top. Based every upgrades and previous record we are also expecting this bike will again charm the users like a Dark warrior.
