Yamaha R15 V2 Black motorbike review by Rad Bin Alam

From my childhood I saw my father and other peoples riding a motorcycle and since that time I always wanted to become a motorcycle rider. When I was eleven years old for my weakness for motorcycle and passion I learned to ride motorbike from my cousin. After learning motorcycle riding I used to ride my father’s motorcycle whenever I got time. Few days later I got my own bike and till now I have ridden many motorcycles and I have also purchased. After I passed my higher secondary exams I asked my father to buy me a bike and I told him about my dream motorcycle Yamaha R15 V2 and my father agreed to buy me one. Because of my passion about bikes I had purchased two colors this one model. At present I am talking about the Version 2 black.

I love this bike for many reasons such as this bike is very stylish and built with fully sports outlooks. Color mixture and aerodynamic design of this bike attracts me always. Accept these two reasons this motorcycle is very much long-lasting and parts are durable for long term use. Bearing all these things in my mind I bought this bike. Now from bellow the lines let us see my one year experience about this wonderful motorcycle from Yamaha Motorcycle Company.

Riding and controlling experience with my bike:

In one word riding experience with my bike is excellent because of the controlling of my bike. Without good controlling any riders will not be satisfied with at their riding time. I have enjoyed a lot with my bike because this bike is able to provide very delightful riding experience. I normally use my bike for city drifting and I get superior controlling which makes my riding experience so memorable. I have travelled few long journeys with this bike because it is still very much new and without that much complexity I had reached my destination always. I travelled around 200 KM in one day with this bike. At long journeys this bike can provide comfortness, mileage, speed all three at a time. Sometimes I have to face back pain because of the sitting position of this bike but over all everything is fine for me.

Engine performance:

I have used two models of R15 and without any doubt I am totally satisfied with the engine performance till now because almost two years running I didn’t serviced my previous bike and one year had past this bike also giving me better engine performance. With Single cylinder , Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve 150cc this engine can produce max power of 17 PS @ 8500 rpm and torque of 15 N m @ 6500 rpm and for this reason I am having higher quality engine performance. For past one year s I am using this bike and I haven’t faced any big problem with the engine. Engine sound remains the same since my first ride. And I didn’t serviced the engine till now.

Speed and mileage:

We all know that top speed is one of the great issues for the sports category motorcycles and mileage is the second thought for the riders. I am pleased with both sides with my bike. From the very beginning this bike is always best at its top speed. I have exit the speed of 130 KM/H with this bike and I was very comfortable during that time. This bike doesn’t disappoint me at all the mileage performance. I have got 30 KM/L plus mileage for all the time which is better as a sports category motorcycle. In total I can say with my bikes mileage and speed I am satisfied and very happy.

The way I take care of my bike:

For better performance and longevity I took great care of my bike. I wash my bike with water, and use shining creams at least twice in a month. After running 1000 KM I always change the engine oil for the improved performance of my bike. And I use my bike very carefully at the jam-packed roads. Every day before I start my riding I check all my external parts to exclude accidents.

 Pros:

-0-60 KM speed at 7/8 sec.
- Durable and parts are long lasting.
- Very stylish and existing with gorgeous colors.

 Cons:

- Sitting position can be better.
- Only one rider pillion can be carried.

In one year I am riding this motorcycle all the time and I would like to say this motorcycle is able to satisfy a rider who loves sports bike and a motorcycle lover.
