Yamaha R15 v3 Indo version user review by Shakhawat Hossain

Honda H100S was the first one by which I started riding the bikes. It was the time of 15 years ago when I learned to riding bike. Its seems like an addiction to me to ride motorcycles why because, each of the bikes in Bangladesh I ridden all of them at least for once. On the matter of my own bike? I have tasted the master piece which conquer the Bangladeshi market including Discover 135 and currently I am using Yamaha R15 V3 (Indo). Today I am here actually to introduce all the good and bad sides of my Yamaha R15 V3 in front you guy's. I hope you are going to have a clear idea about this bike.



My name is MD. Shakhawat Hossain and I am a businessman. From the last 2 months I have been using my Yamaha R15 V3. The main reason to purchase this one was, its design. Its really has a giant cool look same time awesome mixing of yellow and black color just shake my heart into it. I was some how looking for Honda Repsol but I can't even move my eyes once I take a look on this bike. Same time, its was my long cherished dream to have this one. So by considering all the reasons, I have to say that I purchased this one from my hobby.

Design
Its design is slightly different from the previous R15 why because this one has difference in the LED headlamp and also in the wide kit which is even nice to look from the previous one. But I want to say something to the company on this matter that if the headlamp would be little more big in size then its look would have better then it is.

Build quality
So far I know about Yamaha, they never make any consideration with the quality of the parts and they done the same in my bike so far I can sense my bike. According to my view, parts of my bike are pretty strong and I hope these are going to support me even the same way in near future.

Engine
Engine performance is pretty free from the beginning. The more I ride my bike the more it become smooth same time, engine power is really praiseworthy. Each I am out with my bike, I never can be satisfied with the speed rather I always try to pick up more and more speed. Its exhaust sound is very nice to me even the engines sound as well. Adjusting both the sound, Engine emerge a deep and sweet sound which really nice to me. Showroom advice me to keep the engine busy at least in the break in period otherwise it not going to work properly later. I always try to follow the advice given from the technician of the showroom. I can't sense anything negative in the engine till now. Same time, I have picked up the top speed of 135 kilometers per hour.

Seating position
I have a acute weakness toward this bike but I have no feelings on the seating position of this bike why because this bikes seating position is not good at all. Specially the pillions seating position is no way comfortable for them. I have ridden this one 300 kilometers a day and in this journey I did not feel any back pain but I felt irritation in my wrist and the main reason behind this, I have to ride this bike by holding the handlebar away from my body. This is painful for any rider of this bike I think. I must advice the company to adjust the riders seat and pillions seat with the combination of the design of this bike. On the other hand, its seating position height is little high to make clear the ground clearance.

Handlebar
Handlebar is not so comfortable with the combination with the seating position. Handlebars position is much more angled by which I have to stretch myself in the front and I felt pain in my wrist just after riding 30 kilometers. Handlebar would have been better if its position is in little more high.

Electrical
Meter console, LED lamp, Sign indicator all are fine enough to look at but the headlamps light is not enough to have the clear view in my front. Specially on the roads of Bangladesh, this types of headlamp is not good at all. Same time, headlamp remains on all the time which which may good to see from far away but badly irritating to me. Same time, mete console would have better if it in radium color.

Breaking
I have no objection on the breaking system why because Yamaha's breaking system is the best breaking in the current market I think. This bikes front and rear disc break perform just excellently.

Suspensions
Suspensions serve me smooth ride. Wherever I am, even on the broken road or in the highway, I hardly feel any shake or the suspension let me feel the condition of the road. As because the front suspension is Upside Down suspension and for this reason, its performance is really remarkable.

Tyres
Tyres are seems like thick from the ordinary tyres. I have found both the tyres in fine condition as because they have excellent grip but rear wheel often skids and I don't know why? There is one more negative thing on the matter of tyres. There is no tyre guard with my bike and this is really interesting matter when I have a pay a handsome amount of money to have this. In the rainy day, pillion have to suffer a lot due to lack of tyre guard. This is not expected at all from a bike like Yamaha. I hope company will take this matter seriously in their next bikes.

Mileage
Along with the good engine performance, I am having the mileage of around 40 kilometers or so. Showroom informs me when I am to purchase this bike that this will serve the mileage of 45 kilometers or so. But I am happy to having the current mileage why because this matter is quite normal according to the size and power of my bike. So, I have no complain on the matter of mileage range of my bike.

Service center
I have purchased this one from KR Bike Center of Rajshahi and I serve my bike from them as well. So far now I have served my bike once and I found quite nice and sincere to their customers. Same time, their working quality is fine enough in my view.

Price
If you are looking for something exceptional then you must have to pay exceptional. This bike price consequences of Bangladeshi market and same time according to the features, I think its price is fine and OK.

Some negative sides of this bike in my view:
- Seating position is not good, both of the pillions are the riders
- No tyre guard
- Headlamp is always remain on, company must have to find an alternative of this technology.

My request to the company is to solve these problems as soon as possible.
