Yamaha R15 V3 User Review by Zahid Hasan Himel

When I first saw Yamaha R15 V3 I loved the outlook of this bike at the first glance. One of my friend bought this bike and I have given a few test ride and I become determined to buy one for me. I like the outlook, mileage, speed, and overall performance. 3.5 months back I was able to bring this master piece home. Currently the meter is showing 1800 kilometers and by this time I have gathered a lot of experiences about my bike. Team motorcycle valley requested me to share some of my experiences with them, therefore today I am on it.
Before I say anything, I would like to mention all the sayings are my very own opinion. So if any contradiction occurs with others then I am really very sorry.

Good things I find about my V3:

- Superb engine response, no vibration, perfect speed and mileage. I am highly satisfied with my bikes engine. No lack of power and acceleration is supper fast.
- ABS brakes makes this bike more controlled. I can easily control my bike anywhere I want. Inside the city and highways, every time I feel confident when it comes to stop this bike.
- At the highways, due to the ABS braking I think the balancing has been enhanced.
- At the very begging I felt little bit of wrist pain, but after riding this bike for a while that problem is now solved. I think it was about adjustment.
- Comfortable enough, though the posture is pure sporty, but still I am comfortable with my bike.

Couple of complaints I have:

- According to other users and me, Indo version R15 V3 has more durable body parts, I think that should be look after for the Indian versions as well.
- After riding for a long time I think the engine sound is changing, I don’t know why. It can be because of the break-in period, or for the Fi engine.
In one day I travelled around 180+ kilometers with my bike and I am pleased. Until now my top speed is 125 KM/H and it can be raised more. I am highly satisfied with the mileage, because before V3 no R15 models provided 45+ mileage at the city and 50 + mileage at the highways. Yes! I am getting this mileage from this master piece.

Before I go, I will recommend this bike for the sports bike lover, there are some other bikes available in this segment, but R15 has its own attitude.
