Yamaha R15M User Review by Durjoy Hasan

Whenever I think of to buy a new bike, Yamaha was my first preference because of their looks, design and build quality and excellent performance, my previous bike was Yamaha Fz-s Version 1 which I have been used almost 5 years and that bike has impressed me with its service, that’s why I decided to buy a bike from Yamaha, I was looking for a new launched bike with good design and amazing features, and then Yamaha launched the new R15M which was inspired from their flagship bike Yamaha R1M, and it was my dream bike, I decided to buy this bike soon, I brought my bike on march 2022, and now I have ride almost 4000+ kilometers, today I will share my using experience and some positive and negative thing about this bike.

Some Good Side of Yamaha R15M-

• Riding seat is quite comfortable and it’s improved than the previous version, riding position and handle bar is comfortable as a sports bike, I didn’t get any back pain issue.

• I got a good mileage on this bike, approx 48 in city and 52+ in highway which is pretty decent as a sports bike.

• Another good side about this bike is its safety features, which is traction control; it helps on an accidental situation also the bike doesn’t feel down in slippery place.

• Design is much attractive in this category, and the biggest reason to buy this bike was its design.

• This bike has a special feature which is very rare in Bangladesh, quick shifter provides cluthless shifting and improves riding experience, also it helps the bike shift gear easily without wasting time, and I like this feature.

• Braking is one of the best side and strongest point of this because for the first time Yamaha introduce abs braking system in their Indonesian R15 series, braking is much improved and I feel very good braking in this bike.


Some negative sides of Yamaha R15M-

• Pillion seat is so uncomfortable; it’s painful to have a long ride in this bike, also there is back pain issue.

• In my opinion this bike is overpriced, it should be less.

• Sound could be better I didn’t like this sound quality at all.

• This bike didn’t get officially in our country, so it’s not widely available.
