Yamaha R15S user review by Golam Ali Rumon

I am Golam Ali Rumon and I am a bike lover I must say. Motorbike is my daily associate. Traveling with bike is kind of my hobby. Along with study I do business. For the last one tear I am using Yamaha R15 S and it is also known as the version one model. Riding this bike I always feel amazing. Before this bike I have used verities of bikes and traveled with friends. Among all those this motorcycle is at the top of the list that’s why I purchased this bike for my own without wasting any time.



There is nothing to say about one of the most renowned motorcycle brand Yamaha and undoubtedly there build quality and designs are fantastic. That’s why my bike also has great build quality and design. Mainly I love this bikes design, from far distance it looks like an angel to me. Especially the body kit design is awesome. And over all build quality is perfect because I have traveled at different kind of roads with this bike and no lacking at the performance so I have no complains.



In one word this bike is a beast. I think this bike is the fastest one among all bikes I have driven. With my bike I have successfully got 123 KM/H top speed, and interesting thing it can be speed up more but thinking about the safety concern I didn’t do so. Braking of this is also very effective and I have got better braking at both top speed and average speed. But I think tires can be more perfect. According to me wider tires were required for this kind of aggressive bike. But overall with this kind of tires and braking I got better controlling. On the other hand seating position offers great comfort. Combination of the handle bar and seating position is also pleasant for riding. I have observed the switches at the handle bar and they are perfectly placed and very user-friendly. Because of the dual headlamp no problems occurred at night riding, I am satisfied with the headlamp power. Few long journeys are also done with this bike and I have got great comfort and overall performance as well.

With this bike I have traveled Keraniganj, Manikganj, Bicrampur, Comilla, after traveling all these places I returned to Rajshahi. At this tour road conditions of Keraniganj was the worst and I am very happy that my bike provided me satisfactory performance. Braking, suspension, speed and every single feature helped me a lot.

According to me this bike need more fuel than the other 150cc bike. Though the engine is very powerful and this kind of fuel consumption is required but I personally think I would be happier if the mileage becomes high.

Though no I haven’t done any bigger servicing for my bike but I have visited the servicing center of Yamaha and I didn’t like their quality at all. Yamaha is one of the biggest names in motorcycle market but they are not able to provide better service to their customers. Not only me I have also study some reviews and they also provides negative thoughts about the service center of Yamaha. That’s why I personally prefer my known mechanic for fixing my bike instead of going to the Yamaha service center.

On the whole I would like to say I am totally satisfied with my bikes performance. Design, comfort, control, price overall everything is pleasant to me. But body parts of this model are not that much available at the market that’s why I faced difficulties sometimes. So if someone wants to have this bike than I can say definitely it will be a right choice.
