After using TVS Metro for 3 yearsPlus, I decided to buy a new bike. Because I bought a used TVS Metro Plus. I was looking for new bikes, because I have used old bikes for these days and wanted to have a brand new bike. Looking around I found the Yamaha Saluto 125. I need a commuter bike for my daily work, because I ride an average of about 60 km a day. From that point of view, I keep an eye on Yamaha Saluto and watch Biker Review on various online websites on YouTube. Looking at the reviews, I came across the positive aspects of this bike and I bought Yamaha Saluto. I have ridden this bike for 4500 km. Today I am going to share good and bad aspects of this bike.
Good experiences I got -
Bike mileage. With this Yamaha Saluto 125 I get mileage of more than 60km per liter on city roads and more than 65km on highways. In my opinion, Yamaha Saluto is giving very good mileage as a 125cc bike.
I feel very comfortable to ride for long time with my bike. I feel quite comfortable riding from its seating position and holding the handlebars when riding on different roads. I didn't get any kind of back pain and I can ride very smoothly.
I definitely like the design. The color combinations and graphics are very nice. The design caught my eye as a 125cc.
I am getting the engine performance very well. After riding for 4500 Km Ride did not get any bad feedback from the engine. Yamaha engines we all known and they prepare the engine perfectly.
I get good feedback from Yamaha's service centers across the country. The service centers and spare parts in my area seems good to me. That means Yamaha's service feedback is much better. I can easily get any parts from them.
Bad sides I have seen:
The rear tire of the bike seemed a bit slim according to the body structure. I think it would be nice if the rear tires could be made a little thicker.
Meter console is full analog. I think it would have been much nicer to look at if it could have been fully digitalized according to price.
I have ridden 250 km in one day with this bike. I got good feedback by riding 250 km in one day from this 125 cc engine. Meanwhile, the braking and suspension of the bike provide much better performance which makes me feel very comfortable when I ride the bike. I didn't try to check the top speed much, but one day I noticed that the speed of the bike has increased to more than 75 km per hour and I am satisfied with that.
When I decide to buy a new bike, I look at the brand, design, budget of that bike. With these 3 things in mind, I decided to buy a bike. Yamaha is undoubtedly a very good brand and Saluto 125cc bike is also excellent product. I have ridden 4500 km so far. I hope this bike will support me for a long time.
For those of you who have decided to buy a Yamaha Saluto bike, I would like to say that I myself have done a lot of research on this bike like you and found more good points. So you can definitely buy this bike. Thanks to everyone for taking so much time to read my review.
Ride safe, stay safe.
