Basic introduction of motorcycle for a new rider

As to say about a motorbike we all know its a two wheeler vehicle and create power by using fuel. With this power it steps forward. If you want to learn ride a bike then you must have to its basic important parts by which you can control the bike. The more you become familiar with these parts, the more you can control the bike easily.








Meter Console
Its on the front of the each bike. Many sort of meter, indicator light you can see here. Basically those meters are digital, analog or semi digital structure.


Ignition switch
This switch is on the middle of the handle bar just beside the meter. It mainly a electric switch which is function as the connector with the spark plug. When you want to start your bike at first, you have push the key and turn it to the right side and that will turn on the main switch of your bike. If it on then you can see green light on the meter. Sometime safety lock of a bike often connected with the ignition switch.











Electric Start Switch
This one is on the down side of the right handle bar. This one is used to start the motorbike. (In picture A signed red switch)

Throttle (Pickup)
On the grip of the right handle. This is the main part to enhance the power of the bike. If you turn it down by using your right hand. (Picture B signed)

Front brake lever
Front of the right hand. To grip the front brake. (Picture C signed)

Headlamp Switch
Generally its on the right handle bar. If you turn this one from right to left then first one will be the parking light switch and the next one is Headlamp switch. (Picture D signed)






Engine kill switch
To turn off the engine in emergency basis. Basically its on the right handle bar. (Picture O signed)









Kick start
It on the right footrest and this one is use to start the engine. (Picture F signed)


Rear brake lever
Front of the right footrest and it is used to stop the rear wheel. (Picture E signed)








Clutch lever
Very commonly its on the left handle. It functioned as to control the power of engine on the rear wheel. It only happen when you hold it completely. This is also used to change the gear in the same way. (Picture G signed)

Choke
Basically on the left handle bar. If your bike remain unused for a long time then you have to use it or takes its help. (Picture J signed)

Turn signals switch
When you are turning right or left then you have ignite these light by turning on these switch. Mainly on the left handle bar. It also known as the indicator light. (Picture L signed)

Horn switch
On the left handle bar. To alarm the driver in your front when you are on the road. (Picture K signed)

Passing switch
Its on the rear side of the left handle bar. This switch use to set the headlight on the high/low beam for a short time. (Picture H signed)

Headlamp High/Low Switch
To set the power of the headlight this switch is used. (Picture I signed)






Gearshift lever
To change the gear this liver is used. Basically its position under the left foot. Some gear liver is on the front of the left footrest. Some of the gear liver made with the extensional size in the rear part. Its commonly known as the “Gear” (Picture M signed)


At the last
It is better to say that a rider must be familiar with these parts at least to ride a bike. Yes there are so many things but nothing to worry about because these all are about adjustment. If you are adjusted for a time then you never have to remind them again. According to the difference in model, the position of the controls and switches could be different.
