How to get motorcycle driving license?

Whether it is car or motorcycle legal driving license is compulsory for driving. Riding motor vehicles without license is considered as illegal act. Many riders drive their motor vehicles without license and it is illegal. It doesn’t matter how skilled rider you are you cannot go beyond the legal laws, and for this reason always try to keep the original driving license copy with you at the riding period. Motorcycle riding is very pleasurable to all but without license riding a motorcycle can put you under the barrier of breaking the law. From bellow the lines today we will discuss about the process of getting legal driving license for motorcycles.

Driving license process
For getting a motorcycle driving license there is a precondition and that is learner driving license. To take hold of a driving license a rider must apply for the learner driving license first and for applying rider age cannot be below eighteen. BRTA has their own circle offices according the areas, to apply for a learner license rider must give their permanent and present address (with Proof) at the recommended circle office of BRTA where his/ her address falls under. That circle office will provide the candidate a learner license and with it he/she will learn riding. After 2/3 month training they have to give an examination set into three steps, and those three are oral test, writing test and field test. Exam date and time will be fixed before. During the exam time riders must bring their motorcycle for the field test, learner driving license (original Copy) and a pen for the writing test.

Required papers for learner driving license
1. Fixed application from.
2. Medical certificate from a registered doctor.
3. Attested photocopy of National ID card/ Birth certificate/ Passport.
4. Recent 3 copies of stamp size and 1 copy passport size photo.
5. School/ college certificate photocopy.
6. Citizen certificate/ electricity bill/ telephone bill/ water supply bill photocopy.
Learner license fee:

There are two categories of learner license
1. Category No.1 is for only motorcycles or only for light weight one motor vehicle. Certain fee for that license is TK 345.
2. Category No.2 is for motorcycle along with one more motor vehicle. Certain fee for that license is TK 518.

When the rider will collect the application form BRTA suggest a bank for deposit the money and rider have to pay the money according to their instruction.

For smartcard driving license riders have to apply for second time with certain form, papers and fees, after being successful at the oral, writing and field test. After taking the biometrics (Digital photo, Digital signature and figure print) of a rider, authority will endow the smartcard license. Owner of the smartcard license will be informed through SMS after the printing process is done.

Required papers for Smartcard driving license
1. Fixed application from.
2. Attested photocopy of National ID card/ Birth certificate/ Passport.
3. Certain fees and the deposit pay slip of suggested Bank of BRTA.
4. Police verification report.
5. 3 copies of recent passport size photo.
