For purchasing a new motorcycle a rider should keep many important things to his mind to know the condition about the motorcycle. Because those motorcycles which are in better condition will give the riders better service.
First of all check your motorcycle very smoothly at the showroom during purchasing it. You must take a test drive of that motorcycle which you want to buy, it will help you to figure out the technical problems of that motorcycle. Because when these motorcycles are import they are tied with each other so few problems may occur. There are many more things which are need to be checked. The checking list of those things are given bellow which will help you to have a well condition motorcycle.
1. You have to check both front and back tiers are well fitted or not, it one of the major thing of a motorcycle. If you look at the tiers you will see a arrow symbol. That arrow will show the same direction where your bike will go. So check that arrow whether it is working or not.
2. You have to maintain the air presser of both tiers which is written at the tiers and required, because it is very important for safety and comfortable ride. Generally street motorcycles need 38 PSI air presser and duel sports motorcycles need 32 PSI air presser for both of their tiers.
3. You must check both front and back breaks of you motorcycle. For safety ride you have to ensure that both breaking system are working perfectly.
4. You need to fix the front excel bolt perfectly so you have to check that.
5. At present almost every motorcycle are spoke less so motorcycle rims does not get band. But you have to check your motorcycle rims whether it is band or not. And if your motorcycle contains spoke tiers then you must check you motorcycle rims and also the spokes.
6. You have to check your motorcycle steering handle moves comfortably. This handle is locked-up with some bolts you need to check those bolts are tightly fitted or not.
7. You have to ride your motorcycle and check the shock observer is working perfectly or not.
8. If your motorcycle saddle height is adjustable then set the saddle height according to your own height and also check the suspension carefully. It help you to have a comfortable and safe ride.
9. Check throttle and clutch cables. And also check the gear shifter. If there is any problem then ask the technician to solve that.
10. When the motorcycle is standing steel then check the engine oil is enough or not. After that if the chain is so much tight or lose then adjust the chain as you need and check all the indicator lights very carefully. Sometimes those lights become disconnected.
