“Motorbike”, the word gives us a feelings of speed, style and comfort. Motorcycle attracted all of us thats why, we often want to take a test drive of our brothers,friends or uncles motorbike.


But before taking test drive we need to remember some important matter which we usually forgot as a result, most of the time we have to face various types of problem. So, we have provided some crucial information that will make your test drive smooth and more enjoyable.


Let's have a look some point, that we have to remember before taking test drive-


Point One: We should take bike owner with you. It will give him more confidence on you and at the same time courage to give you his bike for test drive.


Point Two: Take all the necessary documents of bike along with you before taking test drive. Because, According to the ordinance of 138, “If any person ride his bike without driving license . He or she will be send into the prison for four months or have to paid 500 taka as a fine or both”.


Again, According to the ordinance of 152 “If any person ride his bike without fitness registration certificate or route permit certificate. He or she will be send into the prison for three months or have to paid 2000 taka as a fine or both”.


Point Three: We should asked about the switch of head light, horn, left or right indicator and passing switch as well as about gear and brake. Because it vary one bike to another. You can find some bike which has front gear system or you can find some bike which has back gear system and you can also find different braking system. Most of the bike use drum braking system but nowadays we have seen disk braking system becoming familiar to the new generation bike rider. It is very essential to check braking system at the very first of your test drive. Without knowing above operating functions you may face some serious problem. So it is very important to know about the operating function of the bike before you take test drive.


Point Four: Do not take test drive in unknown road because you may find speed breaker or some obstruction which may fall you in problem. So always try to take test drive in familiar road. Another important things of test drive is speed. It is better to start with 30 to 40 km and keep RPM within 4 to 5,from that you can get an idea about bike, if you feel that there is a no problem in bike then you can increase your speed.


In addition,if you are going to take test drive of a new bike which ride below 1500 km, then you should keep your speed within 40 t0 50 km.


Above mentioning points are very important in the case of test driving. If we remember all above mentioning point then it will be better for us as well as for the bike and bike owner. But the best things you can do is “AVOID TEST DRIVE”.
