Synthetic engine oil
Synthetic engine oil is maximum refined and made with all the necessary chemical that it will serve maximum performance/protection from the engine. This engine oil enhance the longevity of the engine. Its separated in the group of 3, 4, 5. as it is made by different types chemical, its rate is little bit high. It can used for a long time. A biker can use it up to 3000 kilometer.
Mineral engine oil
We can mention this engine oil as the whole natural why because it is not refined as the synthetic engine oil. It cannot be used for a long time but it can fill up the demand of the engine. A biker should change this sort of engine oil in every 1000 kilometer.
Semi-synthetic engine oil
Its a blend of mineral and synthetic engine oil. But the synthetic never over 30% and this better in the low price. Motul is the first who introduce in the year of 1966.

Flash the engine in new change
If you are switching to mineral to synthetic or synthetic to mineral then you better flash the engine if you expecting better performance from this. Don't use kerosene/petrol/diesel during the flash.
How to flash the engine
- Start the engine and make little bit hot
- Open the filling cup at first then start the process
- Drain the complete oil
- Close the drain nut
- Put the new oil in necessary quantity
- close the filling cup
- Turn on the engine
- Run the bike for sometime or you can run it for 200-300 kilometer then drain it completely.
- Your bikes engine flash is complete.
- Its actually a renewal system of engine by throwing its pollution out from it.
What mineral oil you should use in break in period
Some people suggest mineral oil at first then synthetic but why so? Why because, according to the rules of the company synthetic oil can cost the customer in a big amount which not going to beneficiary for the customers. That why maximum rider suggest mineral oil at first.

Mineral engine oil is totally natural and well known to all the bikers which is cheap in price. On the other hand, synthetic engine oil high in price and many necessary chemical used in it and it is very healthy for the engine. Although synthetic engine oil is better to use but you should follow the companies regulation for the better service.
If you want to use synthetic engine oil then must use that one which is made or prepared for the bike and that one must grade qualified which indicated for the motorbike.
