In Bangladesh motorcycle users are increasing every day. People are using motorcycle for their work purpose, because of their passion or as a pastime vehicle. As the motorcycle numbers are increasing alongside them their robbery is also rising all over the country. Nowadays motorcycles are robbed from shopping malls, parking lots, beside the roads, even from the residence. To prevent motorcycle stealing rider’s use different locks and methods but sometimes they can stop the motorcycle theft. Matter of fact is that if the motorcycle users want to prevent motorcycle theft then using better locking system is not an only option, alongside this few other things they need no bear in mind. Try to place your motorcycle is in front of your eyes
Whenever you situate your motorcycle try to place it in front of your eyes. At least make sure that you can monitor your bike after few times where you placed it. If you place your bike in no man’s land or in a vacant place then chances of your motorcycle theft will raise.

Use better locks
Few locks are available which are better than the locks which are used for motorcycle safety. Their prices are little bit higher but it is far better to use expensive locks to look after your luxurious motorcycles. For the Disc brakes using mechanical locks which are open and lockup with keys are better than the specific hydraulic locks. Using strong chains is also a healthier option. Chains are very well-built to protect you motorcycle, although they are not charming at their outlooks. Try to use several locks for the motorcycle and it will help you to prevent your motorcycle robbery because of this reason thieves will need more time to steal you motorcycle.

Use security alarm locks
Few alarm locks can almost make sure your motorcycle safety. If someone touches your motorcycle or try to start the engine without your presence, those alarms will start ringing. By the key holder you will be notified that someone touched your bike or trying to steal your bike because other part of the alarm lock is positioned at the key holder.

Use Hidden switch
For starting engine or oil passing, use a hidden switch. Unless someone use it engine will not start and make sure no one knows about is not even your close friends.

Use GPS tracker
GPS tracker is device which can find out your motorcycles accurate location. If someone steal your motorcycle, with the help of this device you can find out your bike.

Never give your motorcycle to unsafe pair of hands
Do not give your motorcycles to those peoples whom you never know or those whom you know for few times. By this way motorcycle theft can be occur so be concern. If you must have to give then be a pillion and be with your bike always.


In no way cover your bike at the parking lots or garage
Don’t cover your motorcycle at the parking lot or at the garage of your own house. Body parts can easily be stolen from a covered motorcycle. Unless you take of the cover you can not realize that your bike parts are stolen. Whenever you get time watch the motorcycles locks. You can use close circuit camera.
